  1. Hi, Thanks for this. But it's not the piston I'm trying to remove- it's the work- drive like actuator...... See the pic attached
  2. Hi all, Can anyone advise me how you remove the wind in/wind out mechanism that operates the brake piston on an ST rear caliper? I'm having my calipers painted and need to remove the mechanism from each of the rear calipers before I send them to the painter. Cant work out how these things are removed! Help!!
  3. Where do you live - could you help with mine?
  4. Hi mate, I was wondering why you used twin core shielded data cable? I ordered the same stuff you used- but cant work out how this works! I've ordered a green female FAKRA connector to go on the end- to connect to the green male FAKRA that's on the camera. Trouble is- these FAKRA connectors have only two connections- one (the centre line) goes to the central pin and the other goes to the shielding- just like an old fashioned TV Coaxial plug. What is the second core for? Maybe your using a more modern camera- but mine (on the pics above) just has a two pin only FAKRA (shield and data) I'm more confused now than when I started this project!! Still havent identified the yellow, brown and red cables!! Please help!!
  5. Hi!, I have recently added an ST diffuser/apron to my 2016 TDCI Fiesta. I am now trying to address the exhaust end. The standard exhaust back box has to outlet bent over to point down and to the side. I cant fit a decorative end to this! I want to change the backbox only (not the Cat) could I use a standard petrol backbox on a diesel engine? If I can there are loads of types I could fit, may or may not require an adapter/taper coupling, but that's ok. I'm struggling to find a backbox only that has a straight outlet for the exhaust tip. Maybe if a petrol backbox is fine- I could just use a standard petrol ST one?? If anyone can advise me to the the likely affect of putting a petrol ST back box on a diesel car- please help!!
  6. Can anyone identify which coloured wires does what on this 2012 camera? Yellow, brown and red. One is fuse 42, one is BCM, one is earth
  7. They appear to be in the same place but who knows! I'm starting to think I should just get a backbox of a petrol ST MK7.5 Can anyone recommend a reasonable priced exhaust manufacturer then?

  9. Problem with decorative tips is that the outlet on the backbox doesnt just bend down- it also bends to the side....see below
  10. Maybe you are correct- I found this on Ebay- wonder if it would be suitable for use on a 2016 model...
  11. Brilliant! I'm just struggling to find anything like that
  12. Hi, Thanks for this- I've thought of that but to be fair the current back box wont last another year so thought I'd do it properly. The decorative end I've got is a side-by-side double- if you look on my pic- the area where the current outlet attaches is of to the left side.

  14. Hi mate, Yes, this is the FCDMI connector. These go into pin 14 (brown) and pin 15 (orange) into the C237 under the radio unit. I dropped the AVO meter across them and they connect to only 2 of the 4 pins in the FAKRA itself. There is no screen pin.The orange and brown connect into the camera data pos and neg. My big problem is identifying which of the three camera supply cables do what- my camera having yellow, red and brown wires- I cant tell which goes to fuse 42, which is the ground and which goes to the BCM! That's why I'm looking for a 2012 wiring diagram!
