  1. Hi, I have a 2015 MK7 Ford Fiesta Red Edition 1.0 ecoboost 140bhp. The car has just hit the 50k mark and the engine managment light has come on. I tested it with an OBD2 reader and it turns out it was the Oxygen (lamda) Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 1 (pre cat). I managed to get my hands on one and had it replaced and cleared the code using OB2 reader. i drove about two miles and turned the car off and back on and to my suprise the engine managment light came back on, I then reset my ECU by dissconnecting the battery from the car and left it for 10 mins before reconnecting it however the light is still on. I have read something about drive cycles and how the car needs to go through a certian number of drive cycles before the monitoring system resets and could even be up to 100 Miles. Does anyone know anything about this or anything els i could try or if this drive cycle thing is even a thing?

  4. Just had a full replacement clutch kit put in and had first and second synchro replaced and selector fork and Gear câbles but I haven’t managed to drive it much as the moment I got it back the engine warning light came on saying there was something wrong with oxygen sensor. But I’m going to take it for a thrash when I get it back and that is fixed and see if it’s sorted
  5. Cheers mate, I am going to take it back to them to fix however I have noticed a little condensation leaking from behind my back box when I start my car, I’ll insert a picture below. Could this be a whole in the exhaust and if so would this be causing the sensor to ping up?
  6. Hi, I've posted on here a few times and it’s been quite helpful. I have just picked my car up after having my gearbox refurbished, New clutch installed and new gear cables installed which was quite a costly job, and about 30 seconds after I drove the car away from the mechanics My engine warning light came on. I took it straight back and they plugged it in and told me that it was an Oxygen sensor problem. They reset it so the light went off and about 3 miles later it came back on. I haven't managed to Take the car back just yet as the garage has closed until next Friday however I’d like to know if this is Could be related to the work that has just been done or if it could be my catalytic converters failing? Is the car safe to drive until it’s fixed and will it cause extra damage to the car if I continue to drive it? thanks
  7. Did you find a fix for this, Ive got a MK 7 red edition fiesta and ive got a rattle coming from the tailgate when i go over a bump?
  8. No mate, it was a private car dealership in wales. Reckon they would get it sorted?
  9. RAC Platinum or Platinum PLUs? what can be done?
  10. Hi guys, I’m new to this and I could use a little help. I have recently bought a 2015 Ford Fiesta red edition, and I love it. 1.0 Ecoboost 138bhp however I’m experiencing a bit of a problem with the gear box - when I put my foot down in 1st and accelerate away all the way to 5K revs and when I go to change to second 2nd I put my foot down on the clutch and pull the gear stick back and the gear stick goes what I can only describe as mushy and will not go into gear. I have to slow down keep my foot on the clutch and wiggle the gear stick around and it clicks back into place. the car has done 49,000 miles which I don’t believe is a lot. When I change into any gear it is not a smooth change at all. It is always a little clunky However it never makes a noise... can someone please help because it’s driving me mad
  11. It wasn’t doing it when I first bought it, for 4 months and it only started about a month ago
