  1. Hi mate, i brought these: full: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/132240086485 fog: CAR ROVER H11/H8/H9/H16(JP) LED 2000LM, Fog Light Bulbs Front, 12V, 6000K White, 2 Lamps, H11 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07N65LWLF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_YmVoFbBJ4FNZR The full beams do seem a bit dim for me. I’d hold fire slightly until someone responds to my message.
  2. Hi all, Firstly sorry, I know I’m probably starting to annoy a lot of people with these questions :) so, driving about tonight, I noticed: the lights seem to leave a bit of a gap in distance down the middle, in your experience with the LED bulbs, how much light are you getting? the full beams when on are slightly darker than the normal beams, is this normal? as per the photo attached, showing the beam pattern and also, with main beams On and off:
  3. Thanks for coming back to me. so the first picture is of the lights set at 0. It isn’t lighting up the floor directly in front of it, there’s a big gap before it starts illuminating. the second picture is it set at 1.5. The light is lightening up directly in front of the car, If that makes sense? mark
  4. Cheers Simon. I did change the halogen to LED bulbs as per what others have said. Not sure if this makes any difference
  5. Cheers again. so I just took it out and it’s much better. I have it set at 0 now. So much more road is visible!! does this look like an OK beam?
  6. As always Simon - thanks a bunch mate. I take it there’s no adaptive lights on these cars if you have the halogen lights? I’m sure my right light dimmed a bit when it was going around a corner (it was being cleaned and they moved it as I was outside)
  7. Thanks Nick, this makes so much sense. Ill keep it at 0 and see how I go!
  8. Sorry for the delay in replying and thank you for replying mate. Yeah that clears it up perfectly! also The manua headlamp leveller, il know the number you set this at depends on what weight is in the car but what is the normal average setting? Mine was at 3 but it didn’t light much do thr road up. It’s now at 1 - would this be ok?
  9. Sorry Simon, replying to an old message but got a question. i know the number you set this at depends on what weight is in the car but what is the normal average setting? Mine was at 3 but it didn’t light much do thr road up. It’s now at 1 - would this be ok?
  10. Hi all, Me again. So I know I don’t have the LED lights in the car, I only had the halogen (I changed these for LEDs). However. I was getting the car cleaned and noticed when they was in the car and moved it, one side lights dimmed and one got brighter. i didn’t think the edge came with any adaptive lights unless you got the LED ones?
  11. Cheers mate. im going to take it to the garage next week and they can do it. Only charging me 20.00 and he’s done it before. cheers for all the advice dude
  12. Is this this the only way to replace them? Can you not take them out without having to take the headlamp off?
  13. Cheers mate. just got back form Halfords and they fitted me an OSRAM Hugh and Low beam bulb. The guy told me to buy these on eBay: H15 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/132240086485 Fog: CAR ROVER H11/H8/H9/H16(JP) LED 2000LM, Fog Light Bulbs Front, 12V, 6000K White, 2 Lamps, H11 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07N65LWLF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_oxK4Eb7KFQKWE he was unsure how to change the fog lamps. Do you just pull the cover off? Don’t need to take the full bumper off?
  14. Thanks Simon! I appreciate it. im hoping as a mechanic he should be savvy in making sure it’s all legal! I’d be a bit annoyed if he wasn’t. is there anything else that I may have missed that the Ford Edge can do that I may not know about 🤣 mice upgraded from a 2017 kuga.
  15. Sorry again 😅 do you know if a conversion kit is needed?!
