Posting in General Chat thread.   11/11/2017

it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

  1. LED headlamps

I'd just stick some night breakers or similar in if it was me.
  2. LED headlamps

I like the scrolling indicators but not enough to change the car for. I'm more interested in the whiter and brighter light output from the LEDs. Hoping they'll be on par with bi xenon's at least on full beam.
  3. LED headlamps

With the LED headlights on the front yes, don't know about the back
  4. LED headlamps

It's a £600 upgrade, so the cost of the standard lights and switches will be taken off. But yeah it's still good value compared to retrofitting imo.
  5. LED headlamps

Just as a bit of context, the bi xenon's headlamps for the Focus are around £600 each without any of the other kit.
  6. LED headlamps

In theory it can be done, it just depends how much needs changing. Might need bigger bits of the looms changed if there is no connection for it, or even new BCM if Ford changed it to support them, etc.
  7. LED headlamps

They are auto levelling so there is more hardware (and looms) required than just the headlight unit. There will be sensors on the suspension to calculate the pitch of the car and the lighting control switch is also different.
  8. Mk8 Delivery Delays?

Not PDF, but digital manuals are here: https://www.ford.co.uk/owner/my-vehicle/download-your-manual?ref=%2F
  9. Mk3.5 dash car picture

Ford TPMS use 433 Mhz wireless iirc.
  10. Mk3.5 dash car picture

Some of the TPMS valves Ford use are metal. My ST has metal ones.
  11. Mk3.5 dash car picture

The TPMS valves can look normal now, not always metal.
  12. Fiesta Mk8 ST-Line dashcam?

Have you tested to see if the switched live is going off with stop start? Usually it stays on with ignition, regardless of what the engine is doing.
  13. Mk8 Delivery Delays?

They replied to me when I complained, sent a recorded letter to Andy Barratt and heard back from someone at his office.
  14. Mk8 Delivery Delays?

If you want to complain, write to the CEO office at HQ. Don't both with CRC with are a waste of space.
  15. Mk8 Delivery Delays?

Shadow Black is the only black and it's optional on just about every trim level. Style has race red or blazer blue as no cost options, both solid paints.
