      it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

    Is there anything in particular anyone has found that is good for cleaning/polishing the chrome bits on a Titanium? Since it's only plastic and not actual chrome I don't really know what would be best to use on it.
  2. Mk 7 Zetec S Lowering

    I'm looking to lower my car in the near future as well so thought I'd post here rather than starting another thread. Looking for advice from someone that has lowered their car on the Eibach springs fitted by Ford as I'd rather not risk my warranty. How much is it likely to cost for them to be fitted by Ford and what is the difference in terms of ride comfort and handling? Also if anyone has any before and after pics that would be ideal! :)
  3. De-Badging, Help!

    I de-badged my previous car (a Clio) and am looking to do the same to my Fiesta soon too. How to go about it depends if the badge is held on by pins or glue. If it's held on with pins then the resulting holes from removing it would need filled, however since it seems quite a few people seem to have de-badged their cars I'm assuming it is just glued on. For my previous car I de-badged it as follows: 1) Heat the badge with a hair dryer to soften the glue (but not too much that it will damage the paint). 2) Use dental floss and run it behind the badge to slowly peel it away. 3) This will most probably leave a glue residue on the paint, so peel as much off by hand as possible. 4) Wipe over the area using a damp cloth and then a tar remover. This should remove the majority of the remaining glue. 5) In my case the last time I did this there was still slight marks left on the paintwork so I used T-Cut on the area and this got rid of any remaining marks. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and so after this I also polished the boot to leave a totally flawless finish. As I say this was for a Clio so maybe wait until someone who's done this on a Fiesta before going ahead, but I hope this is helpful :)
