      it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

    well found out what it is, its the inlet manifold runner module, been qouted £164 + vat by ford does anyone know where i can get i one from apart from dealers??

    hi all, was wondering if anyone can help, ive got an st170 and for a few months now when dipping the clutch i sometimes get a noise coming from the bulkhead area, anyway today ive been out and this grinding noise is now permanent whether im driving along normally or changing gear, it sometimes stops when i dip the clutch but its only for a second or two on investigation its coming from a little alloy box in the engine bay that is bolted to the bulkhead, its got a cable going into it and also a plug with several wires does anyone know what this box is or whats inside it and what its linked to many thanks matt

    hi all waswondering if anyone can shed any light on a problem im having, firstly my engine management light is on and i cant get rid of it ive had it plugged in and no faults found, also done the dash trick and thats saying nothing as well, but mainly when its cold it revs all over the palce on idle it will shoot upto 2000rpm and sit there until for some starnge reason you press the foot brake and it will drop down to normal but however it also keeps going to stall and my battery light comes on then it will pick back up and go back to normal but when you accelerate and coem to a stop it will be idling at 2000rpm again, has anyone got any ideas what this could be, it has recently gone through an MOT and they picked up on a dogdy downstream 02 sensor but was told that wouldnt be related to the idling problem but could be the reason that my engien management light was on and, so the light was reset and low and behold not even half a mile from the garage teh light came back on so i took it back and they plugged it in again and it came up clear

    just done it on my st170 and its works a treat, although ium not gettin no dtc codes i am getting 2 codes, well i think they are codes coming up before it goes to dtc and they are R22 and E001 does anyone know what these mean

  7. hi all ive got a focus st170 and its developed a hissing noise a few seconds after you change gear and it also does it sometimes just when your diving along as well. it sounds like its coming from the dash but i suspect its on the engine bay side of the bulkhead, could the gearchange thing be related to the noise?? im proper puzzled with it and also my revs have started to stick aswell ive checked the peddle is not sticking and its fine could this be something to do with the throttle body????
