Posting in General Chat thread. 11/11/2017
it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

Ams started following Spirit Blue Parking Sensors, Ford Smart Repair, Disabling OBD/DLM on 2018 S-Max and and 3 others

Hi Rebecca, Ford Smart repair is provided by the company called Car Care Plan. http://carcareplan.com/product-cosmetic.html. Number is on the website. Hopefully this will resolve your issue.

Hi RainmakerRaw, Congratulations on getting new car. S-Max is a please to drive and very comfortable. I have done the same thing my S-max 2017. I've removed the fuse labeled Data Link connector. Also, as I have a keyless entry, I've bought a signal blocker pouch from amazon. This blocks the signal boosters from working from outside the house. Plus a simple stoplock steering lock will be a brilliant deterrent. Be careful when removing the fuse though as the fuse is a micro fuse and can easily slip behind the plastic trim. All the best.

Reliable source is a Trustford Dealer who I'm purchasing a new car from. Ford have introduced this charge already while they wait and see what deal we get..
-
I recently heard from a reliable source that there is now a charge to release a car from factory due to Brexit. £400 for fiesta, £500 for focus and so on.

Sorry, for not getting back sooner. As soon as I get a chance i'll upload some photos for both rear and front. Looking at previous videos, I can confirm that the quality of picture is adequate to read number plates including the rear camera. I had to adjust the brightness on the unit to improve visibility at night.

Hi Jace1969, I am using the same dash cam you've provided the link for in my S-MAX. Been using it for nearly 2 months and have had no issues what so ever. The quality is brilliant as well. I've run the wiring through the headlining for rear camera. Just make sure to turn off the motion sensor feature. It is useless and also freezes the unit. Once turned off it works flawless. Hope this helps.

But RobR, The quality and adhesive is excellent on these badges hence didn't mind paying for it. You're right though DMB were brilliant.

All together it was £43.50 including delivery. This included front and back overlays, Steering wheel and wheel centres 55mm.

Hello Everyone, Send email to gelbadges@gmail.com. Guy named Ryan can sort gel badges out for you. I've recently purchased Black background with red text for fiesta ST racing red. Amazing badges and I went for the full lot including wheels and steering wheels. Hope this helps...

Hi Montigoo, I had pretty much same problem with my last fiesta Zetec. As Maxxxykins said, try and reset bluetooth module. You don't have to remove it, just look for Fuse in passenger compartment for audio system. Remove it and wait at least 60 seconds before plugging it back in. Hopefully this will fix your issue. Cheers Ams

Cheers Iantt, I'll give it a try and see how far I get. Thanks

Thanks iantt, I've never had a good experience with spray paint. I've tried using them before for diy work and it made everything worse.

Hello Everyone, I am a proud owner of 16 plate Fiesta ST2. As the title says, I am looking for Spirit Blue Parking sensors for the car. I've ordered 2 so far from eBay which matched the colour but when turned are slightly different colour. Anyone got any suggestions or recommendations. Thanks in advance. Ams

HI Guys, I had same problem on my Fiesta Zetec. All I did was took out the fuse for audio unit. Waited few minutes and plugged it back in again. Did a Master reset and everything is fine since then. Hope this helps.
