Posting in General Chat thread.   11/11/2017

it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

  1. Focus mk 2.5 adjustable pedals

Thanks for replies guys, fault occurs sometimes at traffic lights or just normal driving and once on motorway in fast lane, just managed to get to hard shoulder, after 3 or 4 minutes ticking over power came back, no fault codes, driving me mad.
  2. Hi, clutching at straws here but has anybody had any issues with the adjustable pedals? My titanium keeps losing revs but still ticks over, goes back to normal after a few minutes, pretty sure it has something to do with pedals, not showing up on fault codes though.
  3. focus 2.0 tdci

Thanks for the info peter, will look into it.
  4. Hi, i have had this 2008 focus titanium 2.0 tdci since february, every now and again the accelerator goes altogether and just leaves the car on tickover, happened about four times now (twice on motorway} had it on diagnostics and no faults show up. very annoying and dangerous especially on motorway. changed filters twice but thinking it is possibly electrical, car has adjustable pedals which i am told are rare so wondering if it could be anything to do with them. any focus owners come across this problem? thanks.
