  1. I'm sure these have a test/diagnostics mode that you can put them into and one of the modes would illuminate all of the dashboard lights If you can get into this then you can tell if the bulbs faulty or if something else is at fault http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=1ie_OCgDOyw Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

    Got Diffuser Painted But.......

I'd say it looks satin black, just looks quite similar to the factory finish on the bumper trims. Think you were imagining it to be gloss black instead. Still looks good tho Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

Rear Washer On My Focus Mk2 Not Working But Front Does

They have separate filters for rear and front as far as I know Had the same problem with my old one when I bought it and the garage sorted it by cleaning the filter Think the easiest way to get to it is to remove the wheel and arch liner Hope this helps (y) Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

    Petrol Leak! Ughhh

with you saying you can hear it for 2 minutes after you turn the car off I think it would more likely be a part of the fuel system that is pressurised If it was the fuel tank then it would just be more of a dripping If it's a hole or split in the fuel line then a garage should be able to replace the broken part relatively easily (depending on the location of it ) Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

I noticed this on mine and I've got a little sort of hand steam cleaner which I used to get into the places that my little brush couldn't reach Loosen it up with the steam and them rinsed it off and got rid of most of it Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

Are These Any Good? Aircon Tools

I'm a refrigeration engineer (not on cars, but more or less the same) The product on Amazon wouldn't do a lot and you would just be wasting your money If your air con stopped working and a shortage of gas was the issue, then the system should be vacuumed down to remove all air and any blockages, and then regassed weighing in the correct amount of refrigerant The type of refrigerant also changes depending on year of manufacture, r134a in the link hasn't been used for a few years now due to environmental affects and technically you have to be qualified, as the old gas has to be recovered, weighed and disposed of properly As others have said, go to a garage and let them sort it out if you get an issue Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

    Back Panel/wheel Lining/black Pipe

Looks like the panels aren't aligned properly, the rear quarter and bumper should lie flush and the wheel liner does have a sort of 'lip' that sticks out slightly Looks like the arch has been hit on something or pressed in and the liner could have just popped out of place Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

    Mk7 Led Fog Bulbs

I think it's more likely to be that the contacts on the led lights are bent or slightly differently positioned to the proper bulbs Seen as they work with croc clips and a battery The low current draw from them shouldn't affect anything You might have mentioned this already, but the connector might need to go the other way around to get the positive and negative on the correct pin Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

Help... Water In The Spark Plug Holes!

As above, on the mk6 fiestas 02-06(I believe) the washer jets don't have rubber seals between the jets and bonnet and somehow leak into the spark plug wells Bought a new set of washer jets and it sorted the problem on my old car Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

Scuff Plates For The Inside? Did Anyone Know?

Instead of getting scuff plates for the inside to protect them, you can get a sort of vinyl wrap but transparent (for lack of a better way to describe it) The fiesta mk7 5 door has it on the rear doors to protect the paintwork when getting in/out Ford also used it on the focus mk2.5 in the boot to prevent a cable rubbing through the paint when it was opened/closed They do similar things for mountain bikes that prevent cable rubbing through the paint work Can't think of the exact brand name of it but the interior sill could be wrapped in this and probably wouldn't be that noticeable? Fiesta Mk 6.5 Misfire/water In Spark Plug Well

Not sure if they updated this on the mk6.5 but it used to be really common on the mk6 for the washer jets to leak and that was what was causing the same problem for me This is because the standard washer jets didn't come withe a rubber seal between the plastic jet and the bonnet Don't ask me how but when using the jets, they would leak onto the air box and somehow find their way into the spark plug wells Might be something different in your case but worth having a look at Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

    Fiesta Mk7 Interior Light Problem

I put the interior light onto permanent before, so it was constantly on for a few minutes or so earlier, when I switched it back to the middle position (on when doors open) it stays on constantly now even when the car is locked The footwell lights and display go off but the interior light stays on and won't go off unless you change the position of the switch which seems very loose So I took the light cover off and tried another bulb, still the same and can't work out why it's doing this I've read that it's to do with the contacts in the light but no one goes into great detail about what needs to be done to sort it I was wondering if anyone could help me out? Thanks guys Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

Free Fiesta Mk6 Rear Lights Free

Going through my garage today I found a set of rear lights from my mk6 fiesta Both fully working as far as I can remember but unable to test them as I don't have that car anymore The left one has some red plastic missing near the bottom where it has been cracked in the post and the right has an even smaller chip of plastic missing at the bottom Neither of the chips affect the working and both still keep out water I have no use for these anymore so anyone that wants to collect them from the Manchester area is welcome to them for free Tried to show the damage in the pictures, but unless up close you wouldn't be able to notice Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
  20. I don't think it's really a modification, they come as standard and are a genuine replacement But even if you did I can't imagine it being much more Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

    Ford Fiesta 2003 Mk6 Overheating

What if there was a blockage in one of the pipes to prevent the coolant from circulating properly? Water pump could be fine but with a blockage the coolant wouldn't be able to circulate and would cause some part of the pipe to be hot before the blockage and to be relatively cool after the blockage? Could be completely wrong, but Just a though Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
