Posting in General Chat thread. 11/11/2017
it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

I'm not worrying about it Dan it is what it is so if it goes pop I'll get a new engine turbo and clutch which is a bonus really. My dealer has one with a blown head in the pound waiting for parts. They'd tested it and it was fine then two weeks later the dreaded white smoke appeared. I'm not risking having the pressure test whilst everything is OK just hope ford get the themselves sorted and parts to dealers so they can crack on.

Any news on this yet Alex?

They’ve not sent any letters yet ***** hopeless they are. You can check on Etis for the recall but best to wait for the letter get it checked anyway they’ll do a pressure test but hopefully you should be ok with the new engine

Looks good Dan enjoy it on the B roads. Has yours had the head gasket done? I’m still waiting for Ford to sort out the recall but not concerned as mine is running perfectly 🤞

Check your average consumption at idle mine is 0.2 gallons Per hour so one gallon lasts about 5 hours so a tank of 10 gallons or so should last 2 days. M62 is still closed with an “indefinite “ reopening time Just been on it it’s like the apocalypse has arrived no traffic st all absolutely brilliant
