  1. Hi guys, I’m new here so sorry if I’ve posted in the wrong Thread but its really urgent. I recently replaced my engine and it basically don’t start.. I had an 80amp fuse blown which was located next to the battery. I don’t have any power going to the fuse box in the glove box, any ideas what it would be and where I could find it? I have a Ford Focus 2012 1.0L ecoboost.
  2. Hi guys, I recently had my engine stripped by a company down to its last bolt. However they told that the crankshaft, oil pump and turbo was knackered and needed replacing, to do this it would cost 2,500. I didn’t have the money to do this, being a mechanic I would of done this myself but I don’t have the machines to do the reconditioning so that’s why I sent it away. All the parts are sitting in my car stripped. It’s my job to put s second hand engine in, I was just wondering does anyone have any pictures, websites where I can get a detailed look at the layout of where things go. Just so I’ve got an idea.
  3. Hi guys, I have a Ford Fiesta 2009 plate. yesterday I was stuck in traffic for hours, my car started to shake, I had an engine management light on with also the dashboard coming up with engine service now. as I got out the traffic the car would rev up but wouldn't allow me to go over 20mph. I then pulled over and phoned for recovery but due to the floods it was a 3 hour wait. So my son was able to come out and help. After waiting for him, we decided to give it a try and to see if it will drive, we got it to the garage with no problem at all. The garage then plugged a diagnostic machine on my car and it came up with the following: P2108: throttle actuator control P2108: throttle body range/performance Can anyone advise me what to do? Does the throttle body need to be cleaned with carb cleaner and should be fine? Or is there a further problem? the garage also took it for a drive and what with there being no engine management light on now and no dash warning, it seems to be not coming back on and to be driving ok.
  4. Hey, I have a Ford Fiesta 2004 model diesel. its really hard to get in 1st gear and struggles to pull away so I have to give it more revs and it slowly struggles to move but ok in the rest of gears... I've been told by a friend that is seems like my clutch is going, is this correct? Please advise
  5. I have just bought a 2006 Ford Fiesta 1.25 when I start it up it makes a noise like groaning. This also happens when I lock to lock the steering wheel. But this doesn't happen when I'm driving on when it's stationery. I've checked the power steering level and its topped up to full. It was recorded on the m.o.t certificate that it had a power steering leak but didn't fail. Could it be the power steering pump at fault? Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
  6. Hey people drivers window not working on a ford focus but passenger side is. I have power going to the motor if I press it up but don't have it when I'm coming down can someone help me.
  7. My ford focus drivers door window doesn't work. How do I check the motor and to see I power is going into it. Also what do I need to remove the door panel.
  8. Hey. I wondered if anybody could help me... I have a ford focus on a 54 plate. My drivers door window doesn't open but the passenger side does. I have looked on Internet and someone said that it wouldn't be a fuse as the passenger side works and its on the same circuit and fuse. So how would I check to see if the motor is working? Also would I be able to plug a test lead into the window button and activate it to see if it has power. If not what do I check then? If so how would I check the motor? Does anybody know what I will need to remove the door trim ?
