Posting in General Chat thread.   11/11/2017

it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

  2. New Ford Fiesta Power Folding Mirrors

Haha okay so it was just me being stupid! Thanks guys! Been out to the car and yep, it was switched off! I'd been through that menu at least half a dozen times and missed it... idiot...
  3. Hi all! I picked up my new 2013 Ford Fiesta on the 1st of March and absolutely love it. I think I may have an issue though, not sure if it's the car, or I'm just being stupid. I have the Ford Fiesta 1.0L 125ps Titanium and I thought that the mirrors were meant to fold in automatically when you lock the car, however mine don't. Am I right in saying they are meant to? Or is this only an option for models above the Titanium? (Friend got the Titanium X and his did it automatically) I've searched on the internet and I'm not really able to find the answer, therefore I'm now coming to the experts! If they are meant to fold automatically, is there something really stupid that I've missed? Thanks all, Andrea

Thanks for the tips everyone, I'll be sure to post plenty of pictures when it arrives! If I can get myself out of it that is :)
  5. New Ford Driver

Hi All! Thought I'd take the plunge and join your community. I got my licence nearly 5 years ago and ever since I have been driving old, unreliable cars (going through approximately one every 1-2 years!) so after my Golf decided to pack in, I decided enough was enough and began my search for a brand new car. I began with the Corsa, which compared to my 1998 Golf, drove better but it didn't do anything for me. Then I went to Ford and test drove the fiesta. I fell in love immediately! The drive made the Corsa feel like it was behind in technology and wasn't smooth at all. After a week of umming and erring, Ford made me an offer an idiot would say no to. So come March 1st (for the 13 reg) I will be the very proud new owner of a Candy Blue 3 door 1.0T 125ps Titanium Fiesta (with front and rear parking sensors - I'm a woman, it's needed!) One thing I'd like to ask you guys is how would you recommend driving the car for the first few thousand miles? I want to ensure I get the best long term performance out of my car and understand that new cars should be driven a certain way for a bit. Any suggestions would be much appreciated :) Andrea
