Posting in General Chat thread.   11/11/2017

it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

  1. Your Fiesta

Done it myself mate :) Not hard to do.. there's a tutorial on here somewhere :-)
  2. Your Fiesta

    My 2014 Zetec-S ;)
  3. 1.0T Ecoboost Hissing Noise.

It should only be hissing when accelerating and as soon as you let off the Gas (pshhhtt noise), if it's hissing while idling i'd be worried.
  4. Eibach Redline

Yeah Gun-Metal/Anthracite. No should still be fine because the springs themselves are stiffer & Eibach's are Ford approved.. I doubt they would scrape.
  5. Eibach Redline

I would strongly advise against lowering your car 50mm on OEM Dampers.. The shocks would be battered in a year or so and would need replacing. Eibach do a Pro-Kit, which lowers the car 30/35mm, It'd be less stress on the dampers & they're black so Ford might not even notice come your service. Car sits nicely once settled and ride is Firmer but has a more connected feel to the road. Example of 30/35mm:
  6. As long as you/or your partners name is the first and only name on the logbook (V5) documents it's fine (Assuming the vehicle is brand new). Alot of people don't know about this. -if it's not brand new.. make sure the finance company arn't the registered keepers. they shouldn't be due to address/insurance purposes and so on.
  7. Xenon H1 Help Fiesta Ecoboost

HID's produce a bright flash for about half a second before they dim down to warm up again to their natural colour temperature. It could work. but it seems a lot of effort for little gain. where exactly are you installing the H1's?
  8. 2013 Fiesta Zetec S Ambient Lighting

Yes mate. Red footwell lights are yellowish/white from the factory. but the cupholder ones are red.
  9. 2013 Fiesta Zetec S Ambient Lighting

Just a red light around the inside of the cup holders and the footwell lighting (Yellow/White standard)
  10. 13' Fiesta Zetec-S

Few pictures of my 13' Fiesta Zetec-S (Unfortunately written off now)
  11. Thanks, Rang the dealership earlier and the guy dealing with my order isn't in as it's bank holiday. The woman who i spoke to seems to think the car IS definitely built but not in Dagenham yet for reasons she could not give me. also couldn't provide me with a VIN, Registration or an Arrival date. dont think there's anything else I can as of now. Just hope the car was built on the 'estimated production date' so it's on time.
  12. My Fiesta Metal Edition.. Pics

What eibach springs are these? Eibach Pro-kit or Eibach Redline? Thanks! car looks good! I've got an ST diffuser ready and painted to go on mine ;) Looks awesome i must say.
  13. Thanks for your replies! Feel abit better now. Any of you guys know the dates you received your V5 certificates through the post?
  14. Hello Guys/Girls! Had a 2013 Fiesta Zetec-S Panther black which I picked up last year. (Profile Pic) Unfortunately the car was written off as of 1st January 2014. (Happy New Year) :( Decided to go through my insurance company as opposed to my GAP insurance because I thought the process would be a lot less complicated and I'd be back on the road quicker than setting up a whole new finance deal to get a new car. However, It took the Insurance company from the 2nd of January to the 16th April to order a new vehicle which I'm very unhappy about as I rely on my car for work and because the car was deemed beyond economical repair, I wasn't entitled to a Courtesy car. The only plus side is it will be a brand new vehicle. Now according to my Ford Dealer the order was put in on the 16th April, received an estimated production date of 25th April and then to allow for delivery once it's been built. So I'm wondering if anyone has any idea as to when I will finally be able to pick up my car as you can imagine I'm getting slightly impatient. June onwards would make it 6 months without a vehicle which I am still paying for each month.. Is this an acceptable time scale for an insurance company to replace a vehicle? If anyone can give me a reasonable date range of when to expect it from their personal experience, it would be much appreciated, Thanks. :) - Stefan
  15. Triple R Splitter

Might go for the red myself. the smoked ones look abit 'Chavy' to me. reminds me of those lexus lights everyone used to own. Personal preference I guess
