      it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

  2. The low compression could account for why it's struggling in low gears. I would recommend putting the blank back on tho, why poison an engine with dirty air. modern Diesels like clean air and clean fuel

  4. So true Mark, just depends how much people are willing to spend and what type of fix they choose. There are a lot of 2ltr 130's out there, prob best to scrap it and move on and get another with less miles.
  5. Hi. I have a euro 4 that has done 164k miles. I'm having injector issues as we speak. the engine is effectively being starved of fuel. At that mileage it's likely the injectors are on there way out. How were the injectors checked? If it was a simple leak back test, that probably isn't enough. They need to be pressure tested to be absolutely sure they are knackered. A couple of simple tell tale signs are: 1. With the bonnet open and the engine running, does it appear like the engine is rocking violently as if an engine mount has broken? Or 2. With the drivers (or passenger) door open and engine running, does the door appear to bounce? If both are the case, the engine is probably running very lumpy and is struggling to breath, eat and !Removed! and wants to be turned off and never switched back on ever again!     Jim, if you've got he same plate I had ( open slot fixing) the easiest thing I found was not to take the bolts right out. it can be slid straight into position and the bolts nipped back up again, job done Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
