  1. Happy Birthday Kenneth_Lockwood!

  2. Thank you everyone for your replies! I checked the placard on the passenger side door panel and said 41, but just seemed high. I did put it up though, and journey was fine. Managed a car full plus boot full from Leeds to Chelmsford with no bother, even managed the whole round trip on one tank of Diesel! Plus a trip round Southend whilst down there! :D very chuffed! Thanks guys K x Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
  3. Hi guys! Might sound like a silly question but has anyone got any advice on the right tyre pressure to use for a heavy load (car full :p) in a zetec s with 195/45/r16 tyres. Book says 42 psi for the rear but thought I'd ask and see if anyone had any experience/advice on if this is best cause seems quite high? Cheers Kirsty x Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
  4. :o how? I know it's not really an essential and slightly off topic but it does irritate me that i can't get it to work! :/ Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
  5. Would be interesting to know. I have the iPhone 5s and on the last update it included something around the phone being compatible with some in-car hands free technologies via Bluetooth but when I try and use them; for example the option to read text messages, it tells me my phone is not compatible with the Software for this. Annoying but suppose it's better that way, less distracting! :p Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
  6. Thank you!! I shall give them a try if a wash doesn't clear them away :) x Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
  7. I use Spotify for my music in the car and via USB it shows all information :) Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
  8. I've got a Fiesta 1.6 TDI ZS and have had problems with the fan coming on. :/ It was so loud and after getting out of the car and going to the house, it would sit with the fan on for quite a while before turning off itself. It's done it on and off but when I took it back they told me there were no faults on the car and that it was coming on because with it being a Diesel engine, the filters need to clear every so often, so the fan will come on and it will clear them out. Not sure if this is true or not about the fan coming on becuase of that. I do know about the filters needing clearing regularly especially if i'm doing short hourneys often, which I've also been told can be taken care of by having a little blast up the M62 at a continuous speed rather than stopping and starting etc.
  9. Yeah i've noticied this on mine and find it highly annoying so ended up getting a USB charger (£1.75 from Amazon ^_^) for the car and leaving it in and connecting the iPhone that way. Also found the sound quieter through the Bluetooth, much louder with the USB. :D K x
  10. Thank you!! I shall make a note to get it washed after work, then maybe again in the morning! ;)
  11. <_< This is going to sound ridiculous, I can hear you laughing now! So I've managed to catch my nails on my car around the door handle on the drivers side and sort of scuff my nails (which are currently a teal colour) against the door (which is white). You surely can see my problem here and annoyance at myself It's not a scratch, literally 2 scuffs that maybe to a passer by wouln't notice but as it's mine, they're standing out like a shining beacon on the side of the car! Any tips on how to remove it without damaging the paint? Someone has told me to water down some nail varnish remover and use that to rub it off but I'm still worried about damaging the paint! Any help would be greatly appreciated! ^_^ K x
  12. After figuring out my way around I think I've managed to upload some! Thanks for the welcomes everyone! ^_^ Kirsty x
