Posting in General Chat thread.   11/11/2017

it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

  1. Fiesta Mk7 Water Ingress/leak

Hi friends from far and wide! Underneath the pillar, under the frame of the car, just between the two doors, a few inches from the edge, you will find a plug, a rubber plug. It can be removed with your fingers. Remove it and all the water accumulated inside the tubular chassis will come out as a jet. Do not forget to plug it back when you're done though. This is only 50% of the solution to this problem until you find out where in the car is the water leaking into the frame. Generally this happens only on the driver's side, but hey ho, who knows. Cheers!
  2. 4500 Serial Number "not Found"?

Hi my friend you will have to look at videos on Youtube and bring out the stereo (there are at least three), it is a pain but it is worth it.... normally at the top of the stereo box itself someone have probably written the four digit code with felt tip marker, it was on mine when I bought a second hand 4500 Stereo. Hope it helps. Happy unscrewing!!!
