      it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

  1. I get an average of 43mpg, with mixed driving. (Around 50mpg on motorways.) I have never found it to be particularly economical, but it isn't bad. and hasn't improved, even though I have now exceeded 24,000 miles.

I have not heard anything about a recall but can confirm that my DAN is fully functional since I tool my car in for the 3rd time (about 3 months ago) Would be interested to know what they are going to do IF they do a recall. Whilst I like the unit fitted in my Mondeo, it feels like it is due a software update as it feels a little dated. for example: scrolling text on track names would be very nice
  3. I thought my problems were over! But two days ago, it stopped working again! Rebooked in to Ford for next Friday....
  4. FYI folks. Since the last time mine went in, I have not had any issues with my DAB. So whatever they did, it worked :-)

  8. Well, the software update finally came out. Took the car in to local dealer, 1.5 hours later it was fixed! Software update and new "module" apparently.

  10. I finally got to speak to the Service Manager today at my local Ford and he insisted that a software update will fix it. Apparently Blaupunkt have released the fix but imissed a load of serial numbers off? So the new expected date is 16th June. So got to call them after then.   13. Still waiting for the update. I have been in a couple times since and they are adamant this software update will fix it. So frustrating. I probably won't use it but being a techie, I hate that it doesn't work and I can't fix myself :) Sent from my HTC One using Ford OC mobile app
  14. cheers again. Seemingly no updates available for Sat Nav SD or DAB I too think its a faulty unit. Ford said an update is coming next month so will have to wait and see. If only to prove it's not that...
