Not a problem just !Removed! annoying! Car hasn't skipped a beat, just !Removed! clicking upon first start. Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
  2. Nice one Troy, your a big help. Looks like I'll leave the pig alone. As I said it doesn't stick down often and the main spring is fine, so god knows! It's not even as if I had something fall into the footwell so I'm stumped. Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
  3. My wife had a 1.6 StreetKA, One day taking it for petrol I planted my foot down and exactly what you described as veering off to the left happened. I was amazed she hadn't said anything to me about it - got the tracking done and it was mentally out. Also changed front two tyres as they were close to limit. Problem solved on the steering front, but sorry I have nothing to comment about the gear troubles. David. Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
  4. Hi Troy, Return spring in place and working - do you know anymore on the cap? Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
  5. Hello, Driving a long, wearing wellies, went to change gear - pushed clutch down, heard a big plastic like SNAP and then the clutch didn't relase from its bottom position. Pulled over immediately and gently pulled the pedal back up. Clutch working absolutely fine however when you press down with a lot of force (when wearing wellies or the Mrs has boots on) the bugger does not return. I must stress this does not happen a lot it's happened twice in three months. Does anyone know if i can buy a end stop sort of thing to stop this from happening? I assume Ive broken the original so now my pedal can be over pushed.
  6. That's great help, thanks. I phone my local Ford up and they charge half hours labour and £10/15 for the clip and o ring. I'll pop down there and buy the clip, and attempt to do it myself as half hours labour is £70 + VAT. If I fail miserably at it, the car will be limping to the garage after all! Thanks for your help Guys. Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
  7. Haven't kicked it, it's well hidden above the clutch. Bit of a nightmare though, car started to smell like a dead fish now!! I just think I'll dry the pipes and take the clip off, silicon seal all around it etc. Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC
  8. Hi All, Sorry I'm new to this! Whilst checking levels on my 05' plate Focus Titanium I noticed my coolant was below the minimum by about 15mm having topped up and checked a day later, it was back to below the minimum line. I searched high and low for a leak but found nothing! Whilst hoovering my car out at the weekend i had a eureka moment when I came across a damp patch in the drivers footwell! looking up to the right of the clutch peddle i could see two steel bundy pipes, one of them leaking coolant from a black plastic clip/clamp! I've attached a photo of the leaking clip. has anyone ever had to change this? had the same problem? any advice - feedback would be great. David.
