  1. Well the vinegar didn't work so I will give this a go before I do a strip down. Thank you.
  2. @unofix Thank you for the reply. I will give it a go and report back. Cheers.
  3. Before I went to Wales last Thursday I filled up the washer bottle. But as I was filling it up a load of jelly like slime came out and into the washer bottle. It was a bottle I had mixed up from holts concentrate but the mix had been sitting a while due to not using the car much in lockdown. Washer jets were working ok but now they are blocked, I presume with this jelly like stuff. Is there anything I can add to the washer bottle to melt it like bleach or something like that or is it a case of removing the washer bottle? I have tried taking the filler neck off and flushing it out wit
  4. Brilliant thank you. Just what I was looking for. Saw water under there this morning and wandered where it was coming from. Filled up the washer bottle and left it and hour and the level had gone down. So your post here helps with the next steps :D
  5. Right this has been fixed hopefully. I got some grips on it and pulled it back out. Was in there very good indeed. Curtain wire was a bugger to get down but there was no blockages. While it was out I poured a pint of water down it, it never back up and disappeared without flowing over the top. Looked underneath and it was dripping away nicely. Then spent the next 2 hours with dozens of rags sucking the water up out of the underlay and foam stuff under the pedals. -_- :D Thank you to everyone who helped sort this out. :)
  6. I will take it back out if I can and shove some curtain wire down it both ways. Cheers Arthur :)
  7. I have just pushed it back in. The rubber seal on it was in good nick. It was quite hard to push in and feels like a nice tight fit. How would that have come off do you think ? Can the blowers push it out if it was blocked. I'm just puzzled how it could have come loose as I can't even pull it back out now it's in there :D The underlay is wetter than an otters pocket though :(
  8. Lenny, I hope my misses don't see that blanket, she will want one :D I have had a look tonight and I think artscot79 and Ian were right. In Ian's 1st picture there is a white/yellowish 90 bend. Mine is black on my car but it was not even clipped in. It was shoved in down the side of it. Its soaked under the carpet. Will it dry out over time or do I need to vacuum it out or what Its dark and my car is parked down the road so will try and clip it back in tomorrow. Does it just click in ? And is that just the drain off water from the air con ? Thanks for the help. appreciate it :)
  9. Thanks also Lenny. Will be having a look this weekend. Just got back from camping.
  10. Thanks for the pictures Ian. I will have a go at that when I get home. The car made it to camping fine. That will be my job next Saturday.
  11. Thanks Ian, I have just been looking about possible problems including bulkhead mastic, ac drain off clogged and windscreen sealant missing.
  12. You guys were right. Just had a look and the carpet under the drivers side mat is soaked. That bung is more under the back seat than the front but the back carpet is dry. I moved the drivers seat all the way forward and put my hand down where the vent comes through the carpet and its wet under there also. Our screen wash is bright pink but the water dripping out seems to be clear. The coolant is red and is on maximum still and has not moved from the pencil line I put on there. You cannot see the washer bottle as it's in the wheel arch so how can I see if that is draining ? I guess the carpe
  13. Thanks for the replies again. I will have a look tonight when she gets home. I didn't bother the other night as I thought it was just the aircon drain off. I have been putting a lot of screenwash in so maybe its the pipe that feeds the rear window. I thought she has been squirting it for fun :D
  14. I doubt it lol. She doesn't even know how to open the bonnet to check the coolant 😁 😄
