    Had my IDS updated by lez. We had a few issues getting it working properly. We could see the tracks on the USB but couldn't play them. In the end, after lez had word his magic and locked and unlocked the doors, everything worked perfectly. USB, Bluetooth and ipod work. Lez is a great guy and many thanks for his help.

    Air con works both hot and cold, it just depends on the temperature setting you have it on. It'll work just like your regular blower but dehumidifies as well.

    I will do this going down gears as I'm slowing but I've never done it up. What happens when you end up with worn 3 and 5 gears but not 4th? Would it make changes into 4th more difficult?

    From a quick google, it looks like it's less fuel efficient to skip 4th gear since you'll be revving higher in 3rd in order to get the correct engine speed for 5th gear.

    I went in for a software update to stop the skipping on my CDs a while back. Ended up taking three hours!

    What was the part code for the USB connector for modules before the micro USB connector? I've got an AM module.

    Seriously? I think Ford is trolling us. My AM has the one that looks like a regular USB port but is too small.

    Apparently, anything up to the AM model uses an older, proprietory connector. Anything after, (AN, AR etc) uses a mini usb. Shame I found this out after ordering a mini USB cable off ebay when I've got an AM model... Ah well, live and learn.
