  1. I ended up taking the advice of Seatbelt Extenders Pro and bought the one they suggested (Type S) even though the slot dimensions differ. Surprised to report that it appears to work; clicks in firmly with no 'wiggle'. I'll report back ifI have any problems.
  2. Thanks to everyone who has responded. I'm still getting the runaround from the dealer so I'll have a go with Ford HQ to see if I can get a final answer.
  3. Russ, thanks for your help. However, I really want a certified, duplicate book showing the previous service history and these cost around the price I mentioned before.
  4. Ian, that's what I was hoping but I'll still try and get confirmation from the dealer just for my peace of mind.
  5. I've just bought a B-Max and find that the front seatbelt is not quite long enough for one of my regular passengers. I asked the local dealer if they could sell me an extension but they don't sell them. They can't supply a replacement longer belt either. I tried searching the internet but the belt fitted to the B-Max (and current model Fiesta) seems to have a different fastening buckle to the ones readily available. I queried this at Seatbelt Extenders Pro but the one they suggested wasn't the correct dimensions. Has anyone been able to solve this problem?
  6. Do Ford still issue service books or are servicing records now computer-based? I have just bought a 2013 B-Max from a local Ford main dealer and when I asked if it had a service book the salesman seemed a touch evasive and said I didn't need one. I know some manufacturers have done away with paper records but does this apply to Ford? I have a suspicion that the book is missing and the dealer doesn't want to cough up £200+ for a replacement.
