    Cosmetic mods for fiesta

I've done ST rear valance conversion with an oval exhaust tip, TRC gloss black front splitter, Pressed Metal Numberplates, Debadged Rear, Team Heko wind deflectors, HID Kit, LED interior bulbs, LED number plate, sidelight and fog lamps.. All easy relatively inexpensive mods.. My profile pic shows my next mod.. im having the white section behind the numberplate wrapped black (to open that ford mouth up!!)

    USB HUB - MULTIPLE USBS

Alright Chaps.. Long story short, I've just bought a USB hub (like a one usb to three usb splitter).. I currently have all music on a 16gb memory stick that has lived in that one USB port since I got the car :) No problems - Bob's your uncle. So upon giving my memory stick a new home (plugged into the usb hub), which was then plugged into the car... I was a little peev'ed that it no longer works.. I've tried multiple usb sticks, and none work via the usb hub... So my simple question to you people... Has anyone currently got a USB Hub (or splittler) that allows multiple USB's to be plugged in, and go back to the one USB port??? I don't need advice about bluetoothing music from my phone.. I was just curious if anyone had got the above to work.. Many Thanks Mac9577

Yeah sorry bro, I've never had that problem with any of my HID kits either.. so mine were also plug and play. Cookey.. How did you get on?

Hey Cookey, hope your well mate! My HIDs are still amazing.. Look even better now i've bought the matching LED fog lamps as above.. Didn't have to do any cutting other than the small hole in the rubber seal cap. The grommet that fits in the hole comes as part of the HID set that ive bought (links in this thread to the ones I purchased).. No cutting of any metal tabs, and no changing of any mountings.. these really are plug and play! My HID's are on Day and Night, wherever im driving.. they really set the car off as theyre pure white in the day, and a slight blue tinge at night.. Up to you, but you wont be disappointed by mine.. And like I say, Ive had no problems at all. As for the rear diffuser.. I took the time and just sprayed it in the garage.. Because its such a small area, you wont notice the difference between a professional spray and your own handy work!! Just if your doing it yourself with a spray can.. do light sprays, and multiple coats.. As for the change over, the old one literally unclips and the new diffuser clips on! So simple and was fitted in 5 mins Let me know how you get on!
  6. Hi Guys, So Pumaspeed now have the Forge Dump valve available for the 1.0 Fiesta EcoBoost (link below). http://www.pumaspeed.co.uk/product-Forge-Fiesta-10-Ecoboost-Dump-Valve_17122.jsp Just wondered if anyone has already purchased one of these?? After some reviews etc before purchase.. Ive wanted a BOV (blow off valve) for ages, but knew that EcoBoosts use a recirculation valve and so wasn't expecting one of these to become available.. Does anyone have any strong reasons for or ideally against getting one of these?? Many Thanks Mac9577

I cut around a £2 coin with a knife (in centre of the rubber cap), then the grommet on the hid kit Fits in the hole you've just cut :)

Boot release should be just a more powerful strut mate.. but don't quote me on that.. I'll send you some photos of me bonnet one once its done this weekend mate.

I think the rear one is a bit more difficult .. (particularly as you would definitely need a motor if you wanted it to shut itself too)..

The bonnet strut from NBStyling is dead simple.. http://www.nbstyling.co.uk/store/?pID=14 These bolt right onto the top right mount.. Nice little mod for £58 - Should be a 10 minute fit I recon.. I'm going to the breakers later to try and get a boot light housing from an old MK6 as I understand these haven't changed in the MK7.. Also I've got my black wrap on the way as wrapping the front behind the number plate black :)

Pressed Plates arrived today.. Fitting them this weekend.. Also hoping my NBStyling Bonnet Strut arrives this week.. Will post this when done.. Next on the list is a custom boot light install.. (Install a light on the left so its the same as the light on the right!).. Any other Ideas people?..

Must be honest, the ST diffuser for me makes it look a little more sporty.. and it really is so simple to fit.. FYI the Oval exhaust wasn't a straight fit, In the end I used an angle grinder to cut away a section of the tip, bent and welded. Wasn't a long job but a bit fiddly. I would recommend looking for an oval exhaust tip that has a bend in it already for ease of fitting. I'm going to get a new back box soon with a straight exit.. you can have my old tip when I get that mate.
