Hi guys, I own a 21013 fiesta 1.0 ecoboost zetec, yesterday evening I was driving and the car just would not go into any gear. I had it towed to a garage and the issue seems to be the clutch. I don't understand how the clutch can be gone with only 52,000 on the clock. Has anyone else had any similar issues? The mechanic is saying that it needs a new bearing and a a new clutch, he's quoted me £390 for the job, does that price seem okay? Also the car is need of a service, he's quoted me £120, does that price seem okay? New clutch, new bearing, new brake pads and service, looking at a £520 bill :/ Thanks, Zak

I will try using fuelly and a couple of apps. Also what tyre pressure should I be using my tyres are 195 55 r15 at the moment i'm doing 33 psi fronts and 35psi rears is this correct?

I have done a reset on the trip computer numerous times but it always settles to around 27-28 mpg, i'll try and take it on a long motorway run this weekend and see what I average. Also the sync system says I have done 51% of Journeys on a cold engine.

50mpg ! now that would be something. I am using the data from the trip computer, i'll try that method at next fill up, hopefully i'll be pleasantly surprised!

It's a manual, i'm not sure if i get up to temp, how do I check?

Hi Guys, I have had my 2013 fiesta ecoboost for 1 year now and have been averaging around 27 mpg I do 100% local mileage with most trips being less than 5 miles. I get around 250 miles on a full tank, is there something wrong with my car? Thanks

Great cars and great engines, I own a 1.0 ecoboost (100) zetec never had an issue with it, more than quick enough and smooth enough for motorway or in city mileage, handling is the best of any car i've driven, just overall a really nice package. Thinking of maybe selling mine as in need of a bigger care let me know if you are interested. Thanks

Tuha you are a legend my friend, I applied a bit of pressure at the base of the handbrake and voila its fixed. Thank you very much, Ford wanted £50 just to investigate the problem. This forums great.

Hi Luke, Thanks for the response, the handbrake is ratcheting but the button isn't popping out, i'll check if its stuck at an angle and will try and get a picture up. Thanks

Hi guys, The handbrake button on my 2013 fiesta is stuck in, last night I pulled the handbrake up and the button stayed in (didn't pop out), the handbrake still works but it's quite annoying. Hoping someone has a quick fix. Thanks
