  1. Hello robby12345 I did mine, the car on the profile. this is how i did it. things you will need 1.a very long flat blade screw driver. 2. a lighter or some kind of flame 3. a long pliers 4. 252245489448,that item is from ebay do not buy the genuine ford one. 5. an angle grinder or something you can use to cut the lock cable. 6. a genuine replacement lock 7. torch lets begin, you will need to jack up the front of the car so you can get under it, remove tray if fitted. cut the lock cable with the grinder of something similar. then use the pliers to rip out the rest of the lock that is connected the lock housing. it will not be easy , you can also use the screwdriver to do as much damage to the white part of the lock as possible. when everything is out you should see something like the image below. the hole with the + in it. . get the long screw driver use the lighter to heat up the end of it, and get someone to shine the light through the grill while u, insert the screwdriver into the lock where the white + is and turn to the left and then the right.the bonnet will then open. You may be able to still use the key part of the lock you cut off, if you can get the pins out. I have done this once on my car and once on my friends car. Hope this helps mate. all the best
  2. Alan I think that the white leds would be perfect. to be honest I would rather have the white in the Passat and the blue ones in a Ford . I would not even try and mess with the Passat dash lights. That would be asking for trouble . It would not get as far as me filling the ac system to check for leaks. I have a vacuum pump which would tell me if it is sealed before filling it with refrigerant. Thanks for all the advice mate I will keep you updated because I might need your help when doing the dash lights. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Hello Alan Very good job mate. I have made a post on here to see if anyone knows the sizes of the o rings for the two lines that connect to the compressor. But did not get a replay unfortunately. It means a trip to the stealership. If you need the refrigerant removed from the car Kwikfit gave me a good deal you could try them and see how u get on. For sure I will be doing the dash light change but I have a VW Passat and it as the blue lights installed not sure I want both cars with the same colour lights. So I might have to choose another colour Regards Wayne Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Hello everyone I am looking for the sizes for the 2 o rings that goes into the 2 hoses that connects to the side of the air con compressor on the above car. Please image below Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advanced Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. Hello Tekman I would like to change the colour of my instrument cluster aswell. Would u be able to tell me how u did it. I have the MK2 focus Ghia hatchback on a 56 plate. A few things I done to the car I have retrofitted a few bits as well. Today I did the radio conversation to the round type. I also fitted heated leather seats which did not come with my car but the wiring was there because it was a Ghia . Also upgraded alloy wheels and I lowered it Also the lights Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Hello everyone This is what mine look like at night with my projector headlights fitted. The beam pattern looks good. These are what I fitted. Let me know what everyone thinks?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Hello marshal62 What car do you have?? Yes it is but if you car has bulb out warning system. It will pick up the leds as faulty unless you install ballast. I have the MK2 Focus on a 56 plate and I have installed the leds there is no warning but I had to cut out a hole in the headlight back cover because the leds were too long. Hopes this helps Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Hello everyone I am the proud owner of the MK2 Focus on a 56 plate. I am looking to install a towbar. Can anyone help me decide if i can fit one with or without the bypass relay?? i do not get a bulb warning if a light goes out for eg headlight. is it safe to safe my car does not have the canbus fitted and does not require bypass relay?? Thanks in advance Wayne
  11. Hello everyone I am wondering if anyone has ever tried to replace the pulley on the auto tensioner ?? I have Ford Focus MK2 2.0 petrol on a 56 plate. The reason for ? Is that the bearing in the pulley as gone bad now twice. I would like just change the pulley instead of replacing the whole tensioner?? ( if it is possible to do so) Does anyone know where I could pick up one of these pulleys, bolt and bearing?? Any help would be welcome. MUNK19 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Hi everyone Just a quick update of what the lights look like at nights. MUNK19 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Hello AlexanderM I have completed the Focus Mk2 eye make over. The bulbs I suggested you buy from Ebay. Don’t buy them as there are too big for the replacement headlights I bought. I don’t know what headlights u have but make sure they will be able to fit. My guess is that they will fit the standard mK2 headlights but. Not the cornering ones. 14. Hello everyone Just want to give an update in regards to my little lady MK2 Focus. I have installed the replacement headlights that I said I purchased in my earlier post. They look great with the leds in it. I was really surprised that my 56 plate Ghia did not come with the 10 pin connect instead of the 7 pin one. Cheap bastereds. I am hoping that they don’t need adjusting but I am not holding my breath. A point of note the leds I suggested you buy don’t buy them. I found that they are too long to fit and I ended up cutting a hole through the headlight covers. They are to fit the other car in my earlier post. I will do a late evening picture because they will show up more. MUNK19 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Thanks 1979Damian For the reply mate. I understand a lot more than I did before. I guess more research is need to find out about the rules on leds. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
