  1. I have just received these £39.99 quality mats from Cyberspares http://www.cyberspares.co.uk/list.php?cat=18
  2. Anybody know where Kuga's are assembled? After the snow and the resulting bomb crater spec potholes around here I am thinking of getting one.
  3. If anybody is planning to fit mudflaps this is what they look like on a Tango car. It only took about an hour to fit them.
  4. Try pressing further in from the edge.
  5. Look on the bright side - there is no danger of it rusting!
  6. It's wrong. I can assure you there is no way to enable a a non existent temperature gauge. I owned a 2.7D XF for one year and my present 3.0D S for six months. Why would Jaguar disable such a useful facility?
  7. There is no indication of coolant temperature which can be very useful. An "Engine Overheating" message is no better than a warning light as it only appears after something has gone seriously wrong. :o
  8. I have found Sonus Wunder Drying Towels are the best water absorbers. They are highly recommended by professional detailers.
  9. How did you manage to get three days off over a bank holiday?
  10. This is a good one - http://www.topgear.com/uk/videos/sensible-fiesta
  11. Connects an iPod to the AUX input.
  12. I have just bought one of THESE on eBay
  13. Autokeys produced a new remote key in 15 minutes - it cost £125 compared to the dealer's two hour estimate and £165 price tag.
  14. Lifestyle Ford in Horsham charged £329, which is a bit steep as a 4 sensor kits only costs about £60. Colour coding and fitting will add about £150. Have a look at http://www.parkitright.com/fittingservice.html
  15. Thanks colin, I will wait until a cheaper option comes along. There is blank key and remote fob on eBay for £75 and the dealer wants £84 to cut and programme it. A new cut and programmed key from the dealer will cost £165, so providing my own key and remote fob is not worth the aggro as it would only save around £1.50.
  16. According to the handbook there are three types of keys, Remote Control with flip blade, Remote Control with fixed blade and a basic key with fixed blade. My 1.25 Zetec, which was dealer stock, came with a Remote Fixed Blade Key and a basic non-remote Key. Are uncut remote flip blade keys only available as an accessory? I understand these new keys have carbon chips, which my dealer tells me only they can programme - for around £180 . However AUTOKEYS advertise a cutting and programming service which includes carbon chip keys. Has anyone had experience of Autokeys?
  17. Don't use wax over Diamondbrite - the makers told me it will destroy the protection. :(
  18. Do the treatment yourself. You can buy Diamondbrite Products on eBay and a litre of Conserver plus a litre of their Shampoo is on offer from the makers Jewel Ultra for £25.17
  19. I hope I'm not repeating the bleeding obvious, but for those patient souls who are awaiting delivery of their new pride and joy I came across this link to an online Owners Handbook
  20. Evening all. I'm taking delivery a 1.25 Zetec 5 door in Tango on Monday. Although a bit long in the tooth I have been seduced by the new Fiesta. It's only my third Ford, the first being a 1947 V8 Pilot, which I bought for £50 in 1957, and the second was an almost new 1978 Cortina 2.0 Ghia Estate. I have also benefitted from Ford's massive investment in Jaguar with a 2001 XKR, a 2008 XF 2.7D Premium Luxury and my current wheels - an XF 3.0D S Portfolio.
