  1. Attached is the diagram for reverse camera and front and rear parking sensors, if it's any good to anyone. says its for a 2013 model year. So i think it facelift on, possibly still good for pre facelift though? 2013 Fiesta - Cell 131.pdf
  2. I got very luck with mine, was buying the half leather interior from a breaker (had to remove it all myself) and noticed it had the reverse camera, but no sat nav. So i asked how much for the rear handle with camera. Got it for 20 quid. Cost me less than 100 all in including the paint job. to also add, a universal type camera will work just fine with the satnav screen, as long as you get an adaptor lead, like the one i put the link too, going that way should cost no more than about 60 if its a diy.
  3. As already said, loads of posts about it, but i will tell you what i did with mine. Got a genuine Ford reverse camera and handle assy from a breakers and had it painted to match my car. Activated with forscan (can't remember how i did this, was over a year ago, but plenty info on here if you search) My car was not pre-wired as some are, so i took ign feed and earth for the camera from rear wiper motor and I ran a cheap 2 wired shielded cable from the camera (the end cut at the camera side and directly connected to the camera wires) straight to the back of the sat nav/display screen. On the model with sat nav you need an adapter plug, which i then plugged into the end of the cable running all the way from the camera. https://car-solutions.com/en/universal-fakra-rca-video-and-camera-connection-cable.php I still have to connect the last cable from the camera, to the BCM so that the parking assisting lines move on the screen when the steering is turned, but i'm not too fussed with that anyway, although i will get round to it eventually. 4. My advice would be to find a damaged mk8 being broken with cruise control, on ebay for example, then buy whats required and have it fitted and coded, then its as factory.
  5. Cheers for that! I'm at work abroad just now, will check it out when I get back to the UK.
  6. Hi Liam, I retrofitted the genuine ford camera to mine too, but my lines don't move and I don't have zoom function, the only wire I have not connected is the one from the camera to the BCM as I don't know what wire it is and where it connects to on the BCM. if you could give me any info on this wire it would be very much appreciated.
  7. I was thinking of buying the Zetec s diffuse and modifying it (fill in the edges) so I don't need to fit the bumper extension trims, as I feel it would look out of place having them on my car without the side skirts and front splitter, not sure if its possible to fill in or if it would look ok if done that way though.
  8. I have retrofitted a genuine one to my car, the lines are there but they do not move with the steering as yet, as I am sure there is one wire I need to connect to the BCM to make this happen (not bothered me too much TBH), but the fact that they can move tells me they are overlaid and not on the camera. if I disconnect the camera the screen is black and says fault, no lines show.
  9. Yes, it is Hi gents, I have the same, genuine camera, all wired and working apart from the lines do not move, I don't have this wire connected and it looks like this is all I need to do to get it working, just wondering if you could tell me the location of the BCM so that when I get back home from working abroad I can get this last wire connected and finally working as oem.

  11. I fitted those to my Laguna coupe a few years back, they are ok, they don't heat up/get as warm as factory ones but they do make a difference in the cold winter months on leather seats. Pretty easy to fit if you have basic mechanical knowledge, you only need a good powered feed and earth supplied to under the seat area from the car, the rest of the wiring is in the kit and all can stay under the seat, I also mounted the switch on the seat, best place for it. Remember to disconnect your battery before you start and don't connect back up till after seats are fitted back in correctly and plugged in or you will have airbag fault codes that will need cleared.
  12. there is a white one and a blue one on eBay just now, white one needs respray due to scuff marks, type in fiesta rear bumper and go for newly listed and you will see them. both put on 3rd September.
  13. Thanks David, never thought to check for a fault code on forscan, that would have told me if activated correctly or not.
  14. That's great David, I have programmed the car with forscan and the screen goes black when I put the car in reverse with the 4 option buttons showing up at the bottom of the screen, but it does not say camera disconnected as some people have noted after activating. Plenty of helpful info for me to work with when I get home from work abroad.
