  1. Anti-syphon yes - anti-vandal no. I would be much happier with a flap that deadlocked centrally. Surely not too much to ask considering the good level of standard equipment.
  2. Hi Micro. Easy fill - yes, but the flap does not lock in any way (centrally, manually or otherwise) and that's my concern. Ford claim that easy fill makes it very difficult to syphon fuel or use the wrong fuel. I'd argue that it's easy to defeat and is not vandal proof. A poor, cheapskate design in my opinion.
  3. Hi. I'm pleased they failed and the Kuga put up enough resistance to put them off. It's annoying that you have the inconvenience and expense of the repairs. Yes, the stoplock is a good visual deterrent - ditto a good wheelclamp etc.- especially if the vehicle is being left unattended somewhere. i've used both. These devices are enough to make a casual thief go for an easier target. I also think that a visual "alarm on" indicator (LED?) would help too. Sadly, a committed thief will always find a way. We just need to make things as difficult as possible. Regards

  5. Thanks for the info. very helpful. I'll follow up on Redline.
  6. Hi. Another question from a new owner. Does anybody know if it's possible to fit gas strut(s) to the bonnet and if so where to get them from? There's lots advertised (on ebay for example) I can't find anything for the Kuga 2. Thanks.
  7. Hi. Does anyone know if a lockable filler cap is available for the MK2 kuga? Thanks
  8. Thanks dez. That's a good test but I was more concerned whether there is a visible indication that the alarm is on - to let me know and to deter any would-be thief.
  9. Hi. I only recently bought my 2015 Kuga so if this sounds silly I apologise. How do I know when the alarm is on - should there be an LED or similar on the dash or somewhere to warn me (or anybody else) that the alarm is set? Thanks
