    Swapping out headlights

For me it is one of first priority upgrade headlights in a new car. As that directly affect your safety unlike body style or paint colour. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk

    Edge bike rack

The trailer is out of the question. I wouldn't drive through half of Europe with trailer simply because of 2 bicycles. I am sure I would be able to find there cheap 2nd hand ones / rent it .. much cheaper than whole operation with tow bar. But after deeper look in to topic, I found there is loads of universal high mount bike racks as well some new amazing suck on to the glass systems. So yes we do have options and more of them than initially would seems to be. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk

    Edge bike rack

I think I might be on to something. Keeping in mind our mighty edge is nothing special/ new on the other side of the pond.. I had a look how they deal with it :) And came across of it... https://www.etrailer.com/trunkmount-2017_Ford_Edge.htm Do any 1 know those brands or mounting style equivalent? Edge bike rack

Any one have experience/ advice how to? what to choose for caring 2 bicycles with Ford Edge. I do not look for tow bar option as my car do not have one fitted and to do it now would cost £450 plus another £400-500 for bike carrier, so perhaps might work cheaper to get cheap bikes in teh destination and than dispose them after use ;) As well cannot get roof mounted one as I have panorama roof :) yey.. So my only solution is tailgate rack... but than we do have that BIG PLASTIC SQUISHY SPOILER. As said I do look to carry 2 cycles externally! Any tips, guides, propositions...

    MPG

Over 12000 miles, 9 Months. Mixed styles and conditions. Heavy foot, for a reason chosen sport, not necessary the reason was speed but still. 210HP , panoramic roof big rims etc.. 36MPG - 42MPG depends on condition. If treating my baby with TLC and drive like pensioner range can hit 500miles. If hitting Autobahn.. sorry 300 miles range is max.

On the other hand I do find address input in to system using post code not easy. In all my previous systems in different cars it was simple... Put post code i.e. aa1 1aa, system would display street name and ask for a number i.e. 111 . In sync .. it works, maybe in more simple way but not so intuitive... I.e. 111, aa11aa bit confusing. 2017 Battery Problems

Could be an problem with that gizmo which Edge is equipped. So to reduce fuel consumption it only changers battery "when is needed" unlike others "normal" cars all the time when engine is running. Simply the device which switch to charge battery is not working activating battery charging. From Ford UK site / Edge/ Features/ Performance and efficiency: http://www.ford.co.uk/Cars/Edge/Features " A more efficient way to re-charge your battery Unlike traditional systems, Smart Regenerative Charging only charges the battery when it needs it and, whenever possible, avoids doing so when you’re pressing the accelerator. This can help save even more fuel and further reduce emissions. "

Awesome news. So now 1 more on the road, so less rare, but yours stands out of the crowds. Up to few days ago I hardly seen one on the road than last staturday, super sunshine weather, seen 5 in one day in 20 miles radius, on both 66 and 17 plates. But still sport is very rare. So what is that coating? Why is good and how much it costs? Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk

    1500 miles in

sbird1975, yes exactly what i do have in mind. Again, if you pay attention you will hear it, from my personal experience, in most of cars with tank larger than a few pints.. lol. Sent from my HTC One M9 using Tapatalk

    1500 miles in

So far after only 400miles.. since last Thursday, Only faults I found on mine MY2017 210 Sport with all trimmings apart of tow bar (I do not do caravaning). are 2 dirty fingers? marks on interior finish (dry piece of cloth fixed it), and either I managed to switch off somehow or bulb just blow up in the boot light. On the delivery was working now is gone.. Current MPG in mix drive is up to 38 - 40, and on constant increase - perhaps as the power train settle in, that was a case in all my previous new cars. Do not found any strange noises, chips or other horror stuff you do report here... and make me worry. No issues with gadgets (love them) and tech. Yes noticed that fuel tank flush... but is not like terrible and spotted it on other cars before, so still nothing unusual. Fingers crossed mine is lucky one?

Recently seen Edge Vignale and I don't like its look. Front grill lost that "dangerous" look, interior as well is not my style. But than, I am not surprised for better residuals.
