  1. Yes that's how I did it. There is a way to update. The guys in this thread have links to the files and how to do it. I've also found a cheaper module http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-FIESTA-15-1-0L-ECOBOOST-BLUETOOTH-VOICE-CONTROL-MODULE-D1BT-14D212-LA-/201923060311?hash=item2f038d6257%3Ag%3AUq0AAOSwawpXq0Us&_trkparms=pageci%3Abaffd595-46db-11e7-8af2-74dbd18004c7%7Cparentrq%3A6430862315c0aa46e6cbfe79fffc2c47%7Ciid%3A17
  2. Yes the module is plug and play. I did this the other week and is super easy to do. The module you want has a part number beginning with d1bt. That is 1.1 with applink. Example below http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-BLUETOOTH-VOICE-CONTROL-CONNECTIVITY-HANDS-FREE-MODULE-D1BT-14D212-CC-/132193934178?hash=item1ec75f5b62%3Ag%3Asa8AAOSwiDFYKyVM&_trkparms=pageci%3A12215e23-4689-11e7-a922-74dbd18054d5%7Cparentrq%3A6212ce5215c0a9c9b7e32082fffca0e1%7Ciid%3A4
  3. I would be interested in seeing how the nav audio was set up if you also have pics.
  4. Hello, I've only just started this project but I do know that you need to use Forscan to activate the rear camera whilst in reverse. The forscan forum has a great guide in how to access this. http://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1932 The screen itself just needs a short HSD to RCA cable which you can either buy here https://car-solutions.com/en/camera-connection-cable-for-ford-cars-with-sync-1-monitors.php or if that is too expensive you can make your own, which is what i am going to do and waiting on parts. The HSD connector from http://co-star.co.uk/prod/4854/hsd-code-z-water-blue-female-crimp.html and the RCA connector from maplins. I hope this answers any questions so far. I have not encountered the KM/Miles problem. As you seem to have wired your screen up already, can you let me know what the pink and black connectors on the back are for? And what system did you tap into for the reversing camera power? Thanks
  5. Thank you again! I've just ordered the parts. Hopefully it will all go well!
  6. Is there any information anywhere on the pin orientation?
  7. Thanks for the info. The display i have is a 5 inch display with the HSD connector at the back. I have already activated the reversing camera in the config file and just needs an input. Just looking for a cheaper cable. This is the one i have.
  8. Hey, Im currently looking to add a reversong camera to my Fiesta Mk7 display but the only cable I can find costs £23 with and extra £25 on top for P&P. Does anyone know where else I can get this cable or a wiring diagram so I can jist make my own? The cable in question is this one. https://car-solutions.com/en/camera-connection-cable-for-ford-cars-with-sync-1-monitors.php Thanks
  9. I've been doing this exact thing using this topic as a reference. As it's not been updated since I thought I would provide some input. I have a Ford fiesta 1.0L Titanium Econetic which had sync 1.0. The serial number on the old APIM was AM5T-14D544-CC. I then bought a sync 1.1 module on ebay with the number D1BT-14D212-EB. I swapped them over, and it worked, completely plug and play. It did not work for about a minute though, but after switching the car off and on again it sort of updated itself and worked. The new module for some reason now has the number E1BT-14D212-EA, so i'm guessing its a newer update. Hope this helps anyone else trying this.
  10. Hey guys, I have just attempted to upgrade my 4.3" display with the 5" NAV MFD LOW TFT screen so I can install a reversing camera, so i just have a few questions. On the back of the display there are a few ports coloured green, blue, pink and black. What are the pink and black ones for? I can see that it has a fan, should this be on all the time or is it only switching on at certain temps? I am also trying to find the bracket that allows the screen to fit in place above the stereo, does anyone know where I can find one? Ive included a picture so you know what I'm on about.
