Posting in General Chat thread.   11/11/2017

it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

  1. Mk7 fiesta wheels on a Mk5 Fiesta

Then they should fit, just like I said make sure they don’t rub and you won’t have a bad time!
  2. Mk7 fiesta wheels on a Mk5 Fiesta

Hi, Refresh my memory, does the Mk5 axle have a four bolt layout for the wheels? If it does they should fit on, I would just check for the fitment with regards to the clearance of the wheel from the arch and width of the wheel, last thing you want is the wheel being too wide and rubbing off the arch when trying to turn a corner. You should be able to compare the dimensions between a Mk7/Mk8 Fiesta ST wheel and your own wheel to find out the answer. Hope this helps :)
  3. Hi, This may seem like a silly question, but I was wondering whether it’s okay to use an induction kit designed for a 1.6 Ti-VCT Petrol Fiesta on my 1.6 TDCi Fiesta. The induction kit in question is a Pipercross Induction kit (http://www.pumaspeed.co.uk/product-Pipercross-Induction-Kit-Ford-Fiesta-Mk7-Ti-Vct_877.jsp). I have a basic mechanical knowledge, but would like the opinion of someone with a little more experience, as I’m a little paranoid about damaging the engine, and unless I know it’s safe to do, it won’t be getting fitted. Thanks in advance :)
