  1. Hi, I done a scan on my mk3 focus 1.6 tdci and there was a dtc - cyl 2 injector pilot at max learning limit. Does anyone know what this is and if it's a problem? Now I have noticed that the car has had extra vibration, not by a large amount though, at idle lately?

  5. Ah great thank for the info mate! So its just for noise, car doesnt sound any louder to me either so not very effective. What about the smaller cover thats still on the injectors? Is that one important? Sent from my Moto G (4) using Tapatalk
  6. Had a leak off test done and when i got home i noticed the garage left some sort of cover in the boot, never seen anything like it before. Rang the garage and the mechanic said oh its just a cover for the injectors and its not needed. Well i done some googling and i cant even find any info on these cover things at all, or any images either! Photos attached.   8. Hi thanks for replying mate, yeah unusual is what i thought too since its air like you said. Hasnt had an oil change since i bought it as the dealer done a service before the sale. Hi guys, on my mk3 tdci i lifted the bonnet today as i thought i could smell an oily whiff in the cabin on startup, i removed the engine cover and noticed there was a small pool of oil on the rocker cover top left side, directly under the pipe that goes over the top to the manifold. So i then looked at the boost pipe that comes from bottom of intercooler and up to the throttle body and saw that the whole underside of the pipe is sort of soaked in oil? It looks like it seems to be actually seeping through the hose itself because of the way it sort of looks swollen and stained... Dont know if thats possible. I dont have any eml lights showing or any fault codes in forscan. Car does seem pretty rough at idle but it always been that way in the 5 month ive had it. 63 reg and 50000 miles.   12. Does anyone know if my focus 63reg 1.6 tdci will have a siemens or a bosch ecu because the web keeps bringing two diff ecus up, a siemens sid807 and a bosch17 or something?

Im not too sure either, just have it in my head from over the yrs that a car battery should be over 12v and when on a running car it should be over 14. Dunno if that is across the board on cars these days though. Im not ared if i need a new battery like i will just get one, i can imagine its the same one from new anyway, 63 reg.
  15. Just jumped in car there and went through the test mode again, got to battery info and it says 11.6v. Isn't that low? Thats with engine off, i dont even know if you can get into test mode with engine running , yep i know nowt!
