  1. Anyone had any joys with this issue, my Focus 1.8 is slowly getting worse.
  2. Hi, I am not sure if anyone has covered this but can’t find anything. I have a a 2010 Focus 1.8 duratec titanium. It runs perfect round town and general driving. The problem occurs after I do motorway drives. For instance, I will drive on the motorway for 5-10 miles at 60-70 mph. When I exit motorway and resume driving round town there is a lack of power after 2000rpm. My foot will be fully down and there isn’t any response. It will be like this until the car has fully cooled down, stopped for a couple of hrs. I have had diagnostic on it with no error codes at all. I have changed spark plugs, filters and nothing has worked. Many ides? cheers in advance.

  4. Hi, i have a focus titanium on a 59 plate. The engine is a Duratec He 1.8. Driving around town and non motorway drives it’s spot on. Take it on a motorway trip where you will be doing 70mph for 2-3 miles that’s where the problems start. When coming off the motor way the car feels so sluggish, the power feels so low and my foot is planted. This will continue until the car is switched off. Normally goes back to normal. But just come back from a decent 2hr drive on motorway, there is no power through the Rev range. Just wondering if people have a idea. Thank you in advance
  5. Hi, Thank you for the reply, just been reading and it seems pretty common. Thank you again
  6. Hi, i have a focus 1.8 petro titanium on a 59 plate. When I first set off when the car has been switched off and parked there is a click or clunk on the drivers side, you can feel It through the accelerator peddle. You can drive 200 miles and the problem won’t occur again, but you can park up again 200 yards after the problem. Switch off, and park as you would. Start up and the sound and the feel of some clicking comes back. I am sorry this I vague as it’s so hard to explain, I have had it a couple of garages who say can see no problem in any of the ball joints or suspension parts or brakes. Thank you in advance for the repkys refards
