  1. Has your front bumper been replaced as I can't see how park pilot would be fitted without front sensors? My 15 titanium x has sensors front and back. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  2. The wire which sheered off the connector block. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  3. Yes it is fiddly but worth the effort. Are you referring to the white connector block? If so, I extended all 3 wires, didn't solder them either just forced them into the pin housing. I might have some photos. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  4. I have had the same issue twice. Got the same runaround from ford dealer. Have extended all 3 wires and have connected them back into the white connector block. Works fine now. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  5. Mk3 or mk3.5? Mk3 is certainly a bit bland. Seen a few lads upgrade from mk3 to mk3.5 instrument cluster. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  6. I ended up extending all 3 of those wires. After the 2nd one broke I decided to extend the 3rd one as well. They have held on pretty well. My last issue was the ballast / ballast wire playing up. Put a 2nd hand ballast unit in and replaced the connector wire as well. Repairs to date. 1. Fixed 2 wires that sheered off the headlight leveller. 2. Replaced 1 ballast 3. Replaced 2 ballast connector wires 4. Replaced both bulbs with mediocre 6000k ones. Apart from above, absolutely faultless. :) ha Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  7. Take the headlight unit out and check that no wires have broken loose from the connector block which controls the leveling. They can be reattached even though its a bit fiddly to do. I have had 2 wires break loose which I have repaired myself. New headlight from ford is 660 quid. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  8. +1 for Brodit Pro clip. The A Pillar one. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  9. I had the same symptoms with mine, bought new bulbs, ballast and in the end turned out to be cable connector from the ballast to the bulb. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  10. I had a Racechip unit on my previous car which was an Astra 2.0 cdti. It worked fine in the beginning (maybe 10% increase in power at a push despite the Racechip claims) but eventually the DPF sensor failed and then it was never the same after that so I removed it completed. I decided to go the Bluefin route on my 1.5 cdti. Plugs into the OBD to install new map. (15-20hp and 50nm at 2000 rpm) I am very happy with the Bluefin unit after 14k. Much better performance 3rd thru 6th gear. Easy to revert to standard map for services.
  11. I think I read somewhere that the new focus mk4 has the same suspension on the St line and other specs like titanium. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  12. I had the same issue. One of the wires in the headlight unit snapped off. Ford didn't find the issue, I did after having shelled out 90 quid for a Ford diagnosis. They were happy to sell me a new headlight unit for close on a grand. After I found the detached wire, I managed to reconnect it into the plug housing and the error disappeared. I figured that the reason the xenon turns out and down is a safely feature so that oncoming traffic is not blinded by the headlight malfunction. Good luck. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  13. I have bluefin and a k&n on my 1.5 tdci. No issues. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  14. Swapped out my chrome bits for st-line ones. Titanium X. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  15. Titanium X 1.5 diesel. St-line grill and fog surrounds. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
