  1. Hello Ford fans and experts! I am currently battling a few engine management related problems with my 2002 Fiesta MK4 1.2 Zetec. The latest problem is that the car will start, engine management light comes on, and although it idles fine it won't accept any input from the throttle. In fact, pressing the throttle causes the idle to dip and sometimes the engine will stall. I have reviewed the DTCs. There are some pending DTCs for the throttle position sensor, but the ones causing the engine management light to illuminate appear to be two codes: P0181 Fuel Temperature Sensor and P042A Catalyst Temperature Sensor. The first thing I want to do is get under the bonnet and take a look at these sensors and especially any connection looms that are associated with them. My problem is locating these sensors. I've googled around to no avail. Does any member here have information related to the location of these sensors in the engine bay? Many thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge! Brian.

    Alloys Fiesta/focus

    Would these alloys from a 1999 Fiesta mk4 fit on a 2001 focus mk1 auto? Fiesta Tyres - 165 / 70 / r13 Focus currently using - 185 / 65 / r14 Pic attached for reference. Cheers :)
  3. Hi to all. I am new hear and I have only been driving for about 8 months. I am now 27 years of age so I started late. I own a Ford Fiesta Mk4 1996 in dark green and 16 previous owners which is my first ittar that i had got for a early christmas gift. I have been looking for another car but all the cars iv driven don't feel as nice or fun to drive. The feel of the little car feels great though the steering. It is just a shell and engine and it feels great to drive, I have driven other cars like, Vauxhall Vectra 1.6L Skoda Fabia (very bad) Ford Focus 2002 TDDI 1.8L Ford Ecoboost 2012 1.0L I have driven a few others but I still havent found a car as fun to drive than my Fiesta mk4 1.3 I have found my fiesta to be the most fun to drive but it just doesnt have enough power, it is 17 years old now and I would like to know or easy ways to gain a few more bhp from the old engine. When I got the car it already had a larger exhaust and seems to have been lowered. I changed the tyres from 155 to 165 for a Touch of extra grip. Basically id like to gain more power or maybe find the bhp that it would have lost over time.

    Newbie Here - Need Help

Hi, I bought a Ford Fiesta MK4 a few months ago and I have an issue that I was hoping someone could help with. I have an issue with the lock that I cant figure out. Basically The main key I get with the car was broken and the spare will unlock the boot and start the engine but it wont open either the drivers side or the passenger side door. I am completely usless with cars and I want to start doing things myself to help get the car working fully. Could any one advice on what they think I can do to get this resolved. I dont have much money so the more cost effective the better. Thank you all.
  5. Hi there everyone! this is my first post, so I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place! I have a fiesta mk4, 1998 with 95000 miles on! it is going to be my first car and i have done quite alot to it, and what I couldn't do myself it has had done! I want to take pride in so of course want to show off the miles, when it gets to 100k it will start again from zero so what I was looking to do is put in clocks from a mk5, how easy would this be to do? I've included pics of my current clocks and also the clocks i want to put in! Thanks in advance for any help! if you require any more information please let me know! Thank you :D
