  1. Hi I have just joined the forum. I am a Mustang 5.0 Cabriolet owner and I love my car. However, it has a problem that I think looks awful. It appears that the rear bumper is dropping down away from the rearside and rear panels - this leaves a horrible gap that has got much bigger than when I picked up the car new in July 2016. The Ford bodyshop have informed that the bumper brackets are the same brackets used on the Fiesta so they are not strong enough to take the weight of the Mustang bumper. At this point, I should point out that I am a Solicitor and am just in the early process of instigating legal proceedings under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. I am rejecting the car and seeking the return of my monies less a deduction for the use of the car I have had. It is this deduction which will be the sticking point I believe. Has anyone else noticed this bumper issue and if so what have you been told or what action have you taken. Thanks

So how do i start this other than saying, being in this industry for so many years i have seen the brilliant to the extreme cowboy.Check my wheels tv will be providing video tutorials starting at the basics ranging up to the high voltage,Which is where the world is heading towards, we would of all heard about the 2040 big news and how not one combustion engine will be produced in the u.k and most likely europe for that matter. I belive we need to raise the awarness of how important, 1. Auto electrics are in todays world and 2. How important it is in tommorows world. I would like to know everybodies thoughts on this topics as well, not of the learning topic but more of the 2040. What type of business are you in and the effects of this new law. If there is enough interest in this then i will be making a topic of discussion just for this reason. please memember to subscribe to the youtube channel if you would like to learn and future videos thanks.

    A Faster Horse.

Over the weekend i've watched 'A Faster Horse' directed by David Gelb on Netflix,it's all about how the 2015 Mustang evolved throughout the planning stages right through to the launch. If you've got a spare 1 hour 24 minutes i'd certainly recommend it. It features background stories about Henry Ford II,Lee Iacocca,Dave Pericak,Carroll Shelby & plenty more bringing their sole obsession from the drawing board to the Dealerships.

Motorists looking for a new sports car that doesn’t depreciate overnight should look at getting hold of a new Ford Mustang, advises cap hpi. The Mustang currently holds the title for best depreciating sports cars at 12 months old and 10000 miles, beating models from Porsche, Nissan and Lotus to the number 1 spot. 1st. Ford Mustang – 99.5% retail value retained against RRP 2nd. Porsche Cayman – 96.5% retail value retained against RRP 3rd. Lotus Elise – 93.4% retail value retained against RRP 4th. Nissan GT-R 89.9% retail value retained against RRP Clive Wilson editor of Black Book at cap hpi said “The new Ford Mustang met with positive reviews in the media and is proving a hit for the brand. The majority of buyers are picking the V8 for the authentic muscle car experience, while the Ecoboost engine accounts for around 30% of sales. Depreciation is often the hidden cost of motoring but for anyone looking for a good value sports car, the Ford Mustang provides a savvy new and used purchase.” Since 2015, the Ford Mustang has topped 4000 sales to date, with total sales this year so far at 2317. This puts the Mustang comfortably at the top of the table, the closest rival being the Jaguar F-Type with 1446 units. The current split in sales across models shows that 70 per cent of customers specified the 5.0-litre V8 engine, with the remaining 30 per cent favouring the 2.3-litre EcoBoost. Total customer orders for the Ford Mustang in Europe now stand at more than 19500 vehicles since they were launched in the third quarter of 2015.
  5. I think I might have just found a replacement for my Fiesta, with a bit more "Ponies" under the bonnet Thats one mean looking Nose
  6. As per the title who's excited!? I know I am! Anyone going to be placing an order? B)
  7. Morning all, In May last year I put a desposit down on the following Ford Mustang. For a variety of reasons I've decided that I no longer want the vehicle and called Ford last Monday to cancel my order and get my desposit back. Whilst Ford are happy to give me my desposit back they said that given the waiting list with these things and the fact that my vehicle has now actually been built I should post on here and see if anyone who is considering buying a new Mustang wants to jump the queue and take my car. My car is due for deliver around March. I'm not sure if this is the right forum for the post so would appreciate any advice if there is somewhere more appropriate to post. While the USA performance tuners are still trying to work out how get the power to the ground on their 650 bhp Mustangs, British designed and built UBB have taken another direction building a four wheel drive Mustang less power at only 550 bhp, however as they say less is more, the four wheel drive will no doubt slaughter the bigger bhp Mustangs on the road and the track available in right and left hand drive.

    So Much For A Mustang....

Hi guys, Hope you're all enjoying the nice weather. Not much hotter in Vegas where I am at the moment! Anyway, as some of you may know I've travelled to the U.S. with my dad for a driving holiday in Nevada and Calfornia, and we meant to be getting a new Mustang convertible... However just as luck would have it we got... A Chevrolet fairness it's ok but not a Mustang! I daren't post pics otherwise I'll get banned! So if you're travelling out here, make sure you're getting a Mustang instead of a Chevrolet to avoid disappointment! I'll let you guys know on how the trip goes though, Hopefully it'll be good!
  21. I saw this video as a recommendation on YouTube, thought you lot might like it. It's an American Carshow for Ford's, but there are some old UK Ford in there too, along with the new Mustang & Focus RS :D PS Yeh I know that Focus RS is in a hideous colour, I didn't particularly like that flat blue they are parading either, What are Ford trying to do to the RS?, they keep splashing it with rubbish colours!!
