Posting in General Chat thread. 11/11/2017it has been noted that too many Members are posting messages in the General Chat area instead of the correct Forums. Any messages posted in the General Chat area that are not General Chat will be deleted without warning and offenders may recieve warning points if repeated instances are seen from that Member. There are plenty of different Club areas that encompass 99% of Ford related posts, please select and use the correct one. If anyone is not sure of which area to post something then feel free to P/M myself or other Senior Staff for guidance. The Moderating Staff are having to spend far too much time chasing this problem instead of maintaining the other areas of the forum.

I payed a mechanic to have my clutch and flywheel replaced, When he stripped it down he noticed the thermostat housing was leaking so he replaced the thermostat housing with a second hand one which came from a 2006 peugoet 407 when he called me to pick it up I payed him and drove home on the way I noticed the car was in limp mode. I tried to call the mechanic and there was no answer and all over weekend no answer I am going down tomorrow to complain but I don't really want him touching anything else anyway. I managed to get hold of a diagnostic machine and it brought up codes P0380 P0047 U0140 P2683 P0691 After paying for the mechanic to do the clutch and flywheel, I cant really afford to pay anybody else to repair it now and would like to do it myself as I am pretty handy but could do with some advice on what may be causing limp mode and which codes are causing limp mode so I can fix them first and also what might need replacing thanks for any help much appreciated.
