  1. Hey all, I'm looking for details on how difficult it is to retrofit a Satnav to the 2015 Ford Focus. I currently have a Sync 2 8" head unit and find conflicting information online and also from my official ford retailer! Some say it requires an entirely new loom/wiring system where as others state that it may require activation only by a retailer and others specify a new head unit - does anyone have experience with this at all?   2. Hi Together, so i did this upgrade in Nov 2017. There were already few vids on youtube available regarding this upgrade and also Ford has in the meantime released official guide for Forcus MK3 RS SYNC3 upgrade. The videos are great but as they are for US version there is a small difference and also the Ford's guide has tons of unnecessary steps and parts you have to buy. So i have decided like to put everything together and write for you the guide with my experience and tips what to do and how PS1: This guide can be applied to each Ford car with SYNC2 (not just Focus). Of courste the panel removal will be in each car different but the needed parts are always the same. PS2: If you have Focus MK3 preFL, upgraade radio/SYNC1 to SYNC2/3 is also possible and will fully work. You only have to have better knowledge with wires harness and pins as there will be a need to add additional pins into main connector. PARTS NEEDED: 1. SYNC3 (apim + screen) 2. GPS Antena (the one from SYNC2 is not compatible as it is a GPSM module) 3. Media HUB in armrest (optional, will explain below) 4. Power connector reduction (in case you will buy new HUB) 5. ELM327 diagnostic device (Forscan compatible) WHERE TO OBTAIN NEEDED PARTS + ADDITIONAL INFO 1. SYNC3 (apim + screen) Well here you have really plenty of options, depends on your budged. The factory navigation is good but if you want a cheaper option you can go for the nonNAV version and use the navigation apps from ANDROID or APPLE. a.) more expansive option and the best one: is to find a used EU navigation version from ebay, junkyard etc. Even better if you can somehow also obtain the VIN no. of the donor so you can later use it for the map updates. Price are approx. 500-600 Pounds My SYNC 3 is a EU nav version and has this part number: HJ5T-14G370-GNG b.) you can buy also a new one from factory, i have found this guy in Facebook Focus MK3 Owners Club group and he sells the sat nav version for 500 Pounds which is pretty good price: https://www.facebook.com/InCarNavi/ c.) If you have bigger budget you can already buy a whole ALL-IN-ONE upgrade kit, where you will have all needed parts and at least you do not have to bother with buying stuff separately. I know that you can buy those kits from US but they are overpriced also some Russian sites are selling the SYNC 3 kits but i do not know the prices. And i personally know one Polish guy who also sells those kits for Ford vehicles the price from him is i think about 640 Pounds. So if maybe someone will be interested you can PM me and i will forward you the contact info. d.) cheapiest option: to buy one from US and you will later install the EU update there to make it EU version. If you will buy a navigation version it will not work here in EU (US nav version has 32GB internal storage, EU nav version has 64GB storage) but there is a possibility to install there the cropped EU navigation without some unnecessary voices so it will fit the 32GB storage. In US they have a site where the scrape yards are selling car pars and you can find a SYNC 3 just for 100-200 Dollars. Or you can just search ebay. Very hard is just to find it as sellers are describing items like they want. The site is: http://car-part.com/ and the best way is to look for Ford models 2017+ and as a part choose: Radio/CD. From the descriptions it is hard to assume that they are selling SYNC 3 but if you will find something that might look like a SYNC3 8" touch screen just contact them. Just make sure they are selling APIM+screen not just the screen E.g.: 2. GPS Antena You need a new GPS antena for both, nonNAV and NAV version (emergency calls). You do not need the original Ford antenna for SYNC 3, just any cheap that has the blue connector. e.g.: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Free-shipping-RG174-GPS-Glonass-External-Navigation-antenna-3M-Fakra-C-connector/32808397482.html? or https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006AKVX2S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 3. Media HUB in armrest The Finish no. for the proper Focus media hub is: 2026703 (price about 50 Pounds) New media hub is required only if you will use iPhone or Apple Car Play. On the old hub if you will use Android Auto you will only get an error message each time you start you car but it will work. But if you want do do it the proper way just buy the new HUB anyway This proper HUB has one USB nest and it loops to the front so you have also working the USB slot under climate control. You can buy it at your dealer, or any web store that sells Ford parts or just search e-bay. For my upgrade i did not use the proper Focus USB HUB. I have the one with the 2 USB slots that does not supports the one in the front, badly i did not have better info while buying needed parts, but what ever. This is the pic. of mine media HUB: 4. Power connector reduction (in case you will buy new HUB) The Finish no.: 2209060 (unfortunately the price now is about 209 Pounds) Again, you can buy it at your dealer, or any web store that sells Ford parts or just search e-bay. Luckily for you this original Ford part is not mentioned in any other guide. BENEFIT OF BUYING THIS PART: it comes with a SYNC3 LICENSE. What it means is, that when you will bring it to your dealer, he is able to add the info of SYNC 3 upgrade to your car on Ford ETIS site and you will have the SYNC 3 in your car like officially. But i guess like 99% dealers have no idea that such a thing exists, lol. OR Buying just cheaper aftermarket reduction from US company: https://www.4dtech.com/sync-3-retrofit-usb-hub-wiring-adapter-gen-2b/ OR If you know ho to cut wires, you can use this Ford's pigtail (info from 2GFusions.net) CU2Z-14S411-AA (WPT-1239) - installation of this harness will be described below. 5. ELM327 OBD diagnostic device This one you will need to configure the the SYNC 3 for your car. As an example i will say this: You have a rear parking sensors and you can see them working on SYNC 2 screen. If you will upgrade to SYNC 3, you will have no visual aid on the screen as the SYNC 3 does not know that you have the rear parking sensors so you must configure it, the same goes to parking camera etc. Just buy one from here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313.TR12.TRC2.A0.H0.XELM327+Forscan.TRS0&_nkw=ELM327+Forscan&_sacat=0 INSTALLATION PROCESS: Saving data from SYNC 2 using Forscan and ELM327 cable: Well before the removal process you have to save the as build data configuration from SYNC2 (APIM Module) in order to load them again into your SYNC3. Firstly check this video that show were to download and how to set up the Forscan program: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=deJiXehdN6Q For some deeper explanation how the configuration works in FOrscan you can check the official forum: http://forscan.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1932 Secondly the saving and loading function from the APIM module. I do not have the screenshots for you guys but you can check this youtube video. The guy shows it already on the SYNC3 installed but you have to save the data first from your SYNC2 actually. And then after the HW change, load it again into your newly installed SYNC3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gF1VLpr0Mvs&t=317s TOOLS NEEDED for removal: T25 Torx Flathead screwdriver Plastic removal tools are very helpful (you can get them cheap on Aliexpress/ebay) Installation time: approx 1h As a base guide (when you have all parts gathered) use this video, it is a must to watch as my steps and info below will be just an addition and tips to it. Also note that the removal process of the dash parts on this video looks very simple and almost each part can be easily removed. THE REALITY is different, it will be maybe 3x harder to remove everything in your car and you will constantly have a feeling that you gonna brake something, lol. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2V8PFLSHwD0 Installation TIPS: Video position: 0:50. Removal of the trim around the shifter. I had a serious problem to remove it exactly like on the video so i did it by removing it from the other side. Video position: 1:35. Removal of the plastic cover below the radio. Well this was the hardest part for me. I really could not pull it like on the video and i almost broke it. Luckily i had also few pictures of the Ford's official manual that saved me. So i really recommend here to use Ford's step with the screwdriver. Pic below: Video position: 3:45. Removal of the trim panel of the shifter. This step is almost like on the video but i want to just show you the difference with the stick for the manual transmission. Because i firstly tried to remove also the silver frame. Video position: 4:20. What to do with the climate panel. Well i did not want to bother later to connect everything together so i just disconnected the switch for the "start/stop,parking,heated steering wheel" and left the panel aside with other wires connected. Video position: 6:30. Removal of the dash bezel around the display. Well this part holds like it is glued but you just need to do a quick strong pull. It will be 10x harder then on the video, lol. And again i just left it hanging. Video position: 8:35. Removing the brackets from SYNC2. This part you can skip. Not needed for the EU specs. Video position: 12:00. Placing GPS antenna into the dash board. he i just want to give you a detail where exatcly it is placed as it is not seen very well in the video. Video position: 18:00. Removing the old USB hub. Do not do it like on the video. I used the video instruction then struggled with pulling it out causing a small damage to the plastic parts with the screwdriver. Also the wires in my Focus were lot shorter so the manipulation was very complicated even for a small hands. Instead i recommend you again to use official Ford's instruction. You will add a few minutes to it but you will have a nice space for manipulation. Installation of the pigtail for the new USB hub: - this is only in case you decided to connect the USB hub with the pigtail and not with the p&p adapters described above. Installation of WPT1239 Harness (Utilizing Pins 1 and 4): Pin 1 is going to Pin 1 on Existing Media Hub Harness - Yellow/Blue Wire Pin 4 is going to Pin 10 on Existing Media Hub Harness - White/Blue Wire Pins 2 and 3 are NOT used and should be taped off, Pin 4 is the one closest to connector release tab Power wires spliced into existing connector wires, soldered, and ready to be taped up: Using FORSCAN and ELM327/UCDS to configure your freshly installed SYNC 3 for your car. Again at the end you have to load the configuration from SYNC2 into SYNC3. The process is mentioned already above. Well that's it. With that video and my tips you should be able to do it much faster then me i know that this guide will maybe need some adjustments but in case you will face any problems feel free to write here and ask anything.
  3. Okay so on my travels through the world wide inter-web thingy I have stumbled across some cheap parts for what could be an interesting retrofit project. I can imagine it requires the mirror unit to be removed to cut out the hole, then running some wires to the control unit. I have noticed before that there is a square marked out on the underside of the unit for the puddle light unit so would just be following the lines. Any feedback welcome, not sure if I will go along with this, but as money is tight and I really want to have a go at some sort of car based cheapish project. if those words can be used in the same sentence :P

  5. I have 5 inch mfd low and non OEM reverse camera. I've conneted video signal to green connector of screen, and config to MFD 5". The reverse camera work fine but when i change from gear R to N, D, the screen stuck in black for a while (30s). The button zoom, turning line.. are not work! Can you send the wirring that you've done? The camera connector has 4 pin, i just use pin 1 and 2. What's pin 3 and 4?? The screen connector has 3 pin are not using, what'll connect to?? Thank you!   6. Hi guys So I bought this used Sony stereo with DAB to replace the standard boring Ford stereo. But of course I have run into a couple problems. Which I hoped you guys might help me with. The car is an Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost from April 2014. The car is born without DAB and SYNC functionality. On the pictures I have attached you can see that the standard Ford unit has some sort of advanced USB input. The new Sony unit has a larger "multi-input" of some sort. I tried to connect the unit without the weird USB thing and of course the USB in the car didn't work anymore and the Ford Ecomode is also "grayed" out when browsing through the Sony units menu. How do I get back the USB functionality and Ford Ecomode in the menu? Do I need some kind of adapter to solve this? Second problem can be seen on the third picture. The new and bigger screen is pretty exposed and needs some kind of frame I guess. How do I solve this? Thanks in advance guys.
  7. Hi All, recently i have just visit one guy that is a really great technician and programmer when it comes to Ford vehicles. Last few months he spent digging with SYNC3 devices and he finally found a way how to add the Sat Nav into nonNAV version of SYNC 3. So i thought that at least i can give you all an info that it is really possible and what it takes to retrofit the navigation in SYNC3. TheEU nonNAV version of SYNC3 usually should already be equipped with GPS antenna (as it was also with SYNC2). Also it has an internal 16GB e.MMC memory where it is not possible to retrofit the navigation (small space for EU maps). That is why a soldering is involved. 1. A new 64GB e.MMC memory is needed 2. Then we have to open the APIM module and remove the original 16GB e.MMC card. 3. We need to have a special e.MMC card reader and clone the data from 16GB card to a new 64GB card. 4. Setting the serial number ESN to a new memory 5. Solder the new e.MMC memory to the APIM 6. Another custom installation update package with navi maps + navi app will be installed 7. Test if everything works After connecting the APIM module later to a Ford's server they will be able to recognize it as a NAV version and will also provide you MAP updates for future and any Ford dealer can later perform also standard NAV updates. So actually the Sat Nav will be retrofitted as from the factory. Yeah, the retrofit of the navigation is for real not so easy as it is with SYNC 2 and involves much more time, gadgets and patient. The guy has only done it to few of his friends. But i have asked him if he maybe will not be willing to do it for others from around the Europe. So maybe if somebody from here will be interested PM me and i can ask him for his time but really have no idea how much would he charge for it @Admins: if this topic somehow violates the rules, please delete it :)
  8. Is there anyway of retro fitting this unit into 2014 st? As you can see it's a touch screen unit with sd card reader and wiring loom. My car has sync1 the unit is sync2. Any my help would be great as I've bought it and should have researched things a bit better first. Thanks in advance.

So, my first post on the forums (please go easy on me)! 😂 Anyway, here goes… I have a Ford Fiesta Mk7 (58 Reg - 2009) which came with the numerical dial-pad stereo and Bluetooth only from factory, and wanted to upgrade to have both USB and Bluetooth streaming enabled. After reading some threads here and a bit of research, I decided to take the plunge and purchased a Novero 8M5T-19C112-AT module off of eBay, replacing the Novero 6M2T-19G488-AG module, along with the appropriate fascia for the AUX and USB ports and routing the USB cable from the module to it. I then got on to a local garage who happily programmed via Ford IDS, the parameters (that others have mentioned several times): 'USB Accessory Unit' > 'With USB Unit and iPod function' and 'Bluetooth Handsfree' > 'BT/VC Phone Interface + USB connect'. I also remember some kind of BVC setting that was either 'Low' or 'High' (or something involving those words). Attempted update via USB to update module/stereo which showed as being successful on the stereo display. Unfortunately, here are the symptoms: USB power does work. When plugging a USB stick in, it can see the MP3 files but will not play back (reverting back to AUX). Pressing the AUX button multiple times does nothing. iPod and USB options do now appear, but only accessible when respective device is connected; However, no Bluetooth option visible. 'External Device' voice commands result in 'Not Possible' response. Connecting devices via Bluetooth and attempting to stream audio does not play sound through the car stereo, although devices appear to play like 'normal'. Pulling stereo and module fuses to force power reset does not work. Disconnecting USB and module loom cable to force reset does not work. Don't know if anyone remembers coming across this issue, but I've tried to see if anyone else had similar issues on the web forums, but no real luck, apart from one quite similar, if not the same situation, that involved making sure both relevant parameters were programmed via Ford IDS. Therefore: Could the incorrect BVC parameter of either 'Low (non-branded)' or 'High (non-branded)' affect the functions? Possibility of malfunctioning module? Is it normal for iPod and USB options not to do anything unless connected? Might just be the display, but it does kind of look like the iPod and USB options are hashed out? Does the actual stereo/relevant equipment need updating via Ford IDS or is updating via standard USB connection adequate enough? Apologies for such a detailed post, but hope it's good enough for anyone to fully understand the situation. Would be good to get it working! Let me know what you guys think. Much appreciated! P.S. Oh, and also anyone with Ford IDS who can help in the Leeds/West Yorkshire region?
  10. Hi all, I'm about to retrofit parking sensors on my 2011 focus estate. I found the brown plug and the necessary wiring in the bumper, so it seems that all I need is: Parking sensors + harness Parking module Reprogramming Easy peasy right? Nope - the car already has a tow hitch installed and it plugs into the socket that the harness for the parkings sensors i supposed to use. I have attached a picture of the plug under the bumper, and a pic of the wires from a seller. I think I'll need to splice some wires, so both go into the same plug. What do you guys think? Maybe someone has a diagram of the plug, so I know what I'm dealing with.

    Help - really stuck!

    Afternoon! First up, my apologies for going over this again - I know there are dozens of posts about it! I've spent a small fortune trying to fit Bluetooth and usb etc and have failed at the final hurdle 😞 My '08 focus titanium hadn't got any of the Bluetooth loom so I bought the following: 1429813 loom (and lengthened the microphone cable slightly) 1806256 module (this is the latest 19c112 unit with Bluetooth and USB). I couldn't find a decent one second hand so bit the bullet and bought a new one at £250+! The usb and aux plate that goes in the centre console plus usb cables etc - all oem ford parts. Now everything is up and running but there is no sound. If I ring someone they can hear me but I cannot hear them. i bought the patch cable 1592580 but there is nowhere to plug it in, with the car not having had any of the Bluetooth loom. Can anyone please help as I'm over £400 into this but am completely stumped and cannot get the system working? i believe I need to somehow feed the sound back into the head unit?! cheers, Rich

I've just bought myself a 58 plate Titanium, I'm massively pleased with it, I made sure it had some of the gadgets I wanted such as cruise control, parking sensors etc. knowing that I could have a go at retrofitting the bluetooth myself (and for an added bonus get USB support! - fingers crossed). I know this is a heavily discussed subject, but please bear with me, I have done my research. So, I have the Sony single CD (no DAB) with MP3 support, and I've checked the firmware (press and hold 1 & 6 together then turn on stereo) and it's 05-03-03 so I think I'm also good for USB support. I've also got the correct light housing for the microphone and it looks like I have a wire stowed up there to clip the microphone into. I've taken the glovebox out and I'm pretty positive I don't have the wiring loom for the bluetooth/VC module so this is the only sticking point so far. I'm just about ready to email Ford Parts UK to get a quote and place an order and could do with a few pointers before I go ahead. Any help is hugely appreciated. I have the microphone wire, where does this come out? I had a 3 pin black and red socket taped to the existing AUX input cable, it had white/black, yellow/black, and black cables attached. Is this it? Once I've confirmed, how am I going to attach this up to the new wiring loom? I found an excellent guide to fitting USB in the glovebox with an original bezel to hold the USB here http://www.fordxr5tu...p?topic=12187.0 It says the the Nokia bluetooth module has been replaced with a Novero (1726157 Module (AU7T-19C112-AR) is this OK for my stereo and will it give me full USB/ Voice control support? Once I've got it all installed what do I need to ask Ford to program with the WDS, I've seen various things posted, but I get the feeling I'd turn up and they wouldn't know what I was on about? Can anyone tell me exactly what to ask for? I've gathered part numbers from all over the place, it looks like they get replaced with never versions, can anyone confirm the below? Bluetooth: 1726157 Module (AU7T-19C112-AR, 2010 Module Bluetooth BT/VC+USB Connect) 1353218 Module Bracket 1355147 Screw For Bracket x 2 1318965 Steering Control Stalk 1532666 Bluetooth Mic 1467152 Retrofit patch loom for universal fit. (there seems to be different versions of this for focus/fiesta??) USB: 1543691 USB cable 1543450 USB socket 1550778 Glovebox bezel Finally if anyone can recommend anywhere to get hold of some of the parts other than Ford Parts UK that would be appreciated, I've not had much luck sourcing stuff on ebay.
  13. Hi guys, I have recently started a bit of a project on my 2009 Ford Focus Titanium to retrofit mirrors with puddle-lamps and power fold capability. I removed the old mirrors and attached new (aftermarket) mirrors with puddle lamps and power fold. I purchased a two-way button from Ford which replaces the standard interior scan button by the door handle. (I dont have the power fold switch integrated on the drivers door arm rest module). After a search on Google ive figured out where the extra wire needs to go on the drivers door control unit (the passenger mirror connector is fully populated) to power the drivers side mirror fold motor. Current Progress I've managed to turn on the puddle lamps with ELMConfig. Currently when i lock the car the mirrors move in a bit (and it seems using the mirror adjustment switch i can move them out again using the left arrow ?). The puddle lamps seem to be working properly. Questions Q1) How can i wire up the two way button pictured above? Q2) What settings do i need to flick in ELMConfig so the car knows it has powerfold/puddle lamps (I have a modified ELM327 clone with an MS CAN switch)? Q3) Is there any mirror learning procedure required so the car knows how much to fold the mirrors in or out (like global opening/closing for the windows)? Any help would be greatly appreciated! I could do with one myself, I've found myself having my arm rested on top of protein shakers that I leave in the cup holders... They're not the comfiest of things and could do with something a little more plush! Any recommendations? Any pointers? Thanks in advance. Cookey.

    Question About Retrofits

    Hello, I am a new user to this forum but hopefully I'll be an active part of it :D I am planing on buying a focus 2 hatchback the pre fl version. I have some questions regarding retrofitting some parts, just so I know what parts I should look at it having as stock. If it has the old, not so nice air-conditioning controls can I switch them for the face-lift ones? And if the car doesn't have door modules, can i retrofit those? Are they the same module as the one on the facelift? Also do the facelift mirrors fit and work with the pre fl one? Thanks in advance!

Hi All, I am waiting on my My ford Touch Kit arriving from the us but before I purchased it I already purchased a Nav Unit to replace my Standard Sony head unit in the Kuga Mk2, so I have fitted it and the nav works as expected but without voice directions. and I have lost the Voice commands for sync and no bluetooth. I think this has to do with the Sync Bluetooth Module. and I am looking for someone to help Identify the correct part number for this unit. what is ment to work with the Ford Nav. Cheers Alan
  18. HI Everyone! I have a 2008 Focus Zetec auto, and i am looking to retro fit the auto headlights and maybe auto wipers to it. I know i need to see if i have the correct wiring, however i was wondering if there was anyone they could help me establish this?! Also i will need to change the config for the car, i used to have a vauxhall astra and could do it on there however it's a little different with a ford. Not sure i would like to mod the ELM reader myself, or pay ford £70! I'm guessing that i would need: Auto headlamp switch Auto Wiper stalk Sensor and new mirror? My mum has a 62plate zetec when you open the doors and it is dark it automatically puts the side lights on (also when you unlock it) when you close a door they go off and then when you open on the come on, is this possible also? Not in any rush to get this done however would be cool if i could do it. TIA! Jonathan

Hi, I have a Ford Focus Mk2.5 Titanium 2009 Model and have been looking to retrofit Bluetooth to it, I have followed Gaz RS's guide, and have the microphone wiring in the interior light as mentioned. I have bought a module and all the other relevant parts, but having taken out the glovebox, I can't find the Bluetooth module wiring. I have looked a couple of times now and have pulled back the thick grey foam but can't find anything. If I purchase the patch loom 1467152, where would I find the microphone wiring as again I can't see it behind the glovebox anywhere. Any help is much appreciated as I'm struggling now and have purchased all the items. Thanks
  20. Hi guys ans girls, Im new here, although i've been a avid reader on here for some time. I have a question which seems to have been answered a few times, although none of the posts quite cover my individual circumstances, so I thought I would ask the question in a thread of my own. I have a 2009 Mondeo 2.0l Diesel Titanium and I have the Sony 6 CD Dash-Changer headunit. I also have the voice control and bluetooth features and the colour screen near the speedo clocks etc. (convers+ or something?) and I do have a 3.5mm audio Aux-in in the glovebox. However, what I would love to be able to do, is plug my iPod/iphone into the unti and control that as I would with the main system, but alas, my vehicle doesnt have the USB socket in the dash. I've heard some people say it can be retrofitted by changing the bluetooth/voice module, I called Ford dealership and they almost managed to sell me the USB Music Box which ALMOST does what i want to do, but doesnt support iPod and doesnt allow you to see track names etc on the screen. So, my questions to the experts on this forum is: 1. Can this modification be done with the Sony 6CD headunit 2. Can it be done in such a way that the tracks can be read and controlled on the system, as a Factory system would If it is a matter of changing the Bluetooth/Voice module, can anybody tell me the exact model i would need, as i've seen so many different versions being recommended on various posts etc, and I wouldn't want to buy one for £100-200 and be stuck with it, as it's the wrong version. Also, my understanding is that even if you change the module over, you still need to have it programmed by a dealer to enable the USB as a device on the system. Is this accurate? If so, does anybody know of somebody who would either do the whole fitting job for me (parts and labour) or does somebody know who could do the programming for me, if i managed to get the unit installed by somebody else? I dont want to buy the unit, have it installed, only to find i cannot find somebody to do the programming. Of course, I'm also open to using a 3rd party solution, though I don't want any external screens hanging around in the cabin or wires all over the place. My overall aim is to keep it as true to the manufacturers way of doing it as possible, but ideally without the huge cost involved. Im more than happy to pay a few hundred pound, but dont want to be spending a fortune. Can anybody help me with the above? Do we have anybody whos done this job themselves and can say that it works well etc?   21. Hi everyone decided to register on this forum as there seems to be lots of interesting stuff on here. I'm picking up my fourth Mondeo tomorrow a 2.0 Tdci Ghia X 5 door in Silver (very excited!) , my first diesel after having petrol models all my life. The Chancellor has forced my hand on this bless him, running a 2.0 Duratec proved too costly. Anyhow I'm after some advice as I would like to fit parking sensors to my mondeo but would like them to look factory fitted so was wondering if anyone knew the diameter of the holes in the factory fit bumper strip as i found it on the Fraud spares website here; http://www.fordpartsuk.com/shop/ford_mondeo_rear_bumper_moulding_kit_2003-2007_4_and_5_door_saloons_for_reverse_sensor_f_1426040_c_310.htm and would like to use it with an eBay kit which are normally 18 or 22mm in diameter. Any info would be appreciated thanks.
