Waterleak Streetka

Featured Replies

Hi all,

To add to the problems I've now noticed the car filled up like a bath yesterday.

The main pool of water was behind passenger seat but front passenger seat was very damp and a little on driver.

I'm going to get the interior out but anyone know of any issues to look out for?

Cheers

Did you leave the doors open when you last put the roof up? I seem to remember you are supposed to then close the doors afterwards to create the seal. I think it's in the handbook.

Thanks,

I've just checked and found where the heating pipes go into the heater matrix from the B frame it pours in from there. I cleaned that area and removed all the leaves as it's been sat for over a year and now the water runs out into the engine bay better.

I assume I should just get some clear silicone around the seal!?!?!?!

Now the radio went off this morning. Doh

At least you found it. Drain holes can do this of not cleared out regularly.
