Any advice before I get my hands dirty. Can you adjust at all or are new shoes the answer?

    Pull up cover on handbrake an adjust from there

    from memory you can adjust the hand brake from the inside of the car.

    pull off the hand brake cover & you will see a nut on a thread.

    put something under the wheels to stop the car rolling then release the hand brake & screw the nut down a couple of turns then re appy the hand brake without pressing the release button. when you pull it up you need to set it so it clicks about 3 times on the ratchet.

    once your happy apply the break remove the wheel blocks then release the break & re apply to make sure it's holding correctly & if it is then pop the cover back on & away you go. ithink it's a 10mm nut so a spanner or socket of the same size is all you need
