GMX
Does anyone know if the blinds are available on their own: rather than as a complete kit? I have already installed an aftermarket kit from UV Car Shades, but the tailgate blind is in two pieces: rather than the one the Ford kit supplies. Where the two blinds meet, is right where I was planning to install my rear dashcam. If I remove a small piece, to make a hole for the lens, from the edges of each blind, the integrity of the sprung blind frames are likely to collapse and fall out! Whereas, if I had the one piece Ford tailgate sunblind, it would only need a small hole cut in the fabric of of the blind :)
Lenny
I had what I believed to be the Ford kit, And the rear blind was in two separate pieces, I think there Very prison bus mate, I went for 35% tint instead, Is Nice You may also like to view my guide on fitting discreet dual dash cam in glovebox link: http://www.fordownersclub.com/forums/topic/65147-guide-fitting-dual-camera-dvr-system-focus-mk2-mk25/?p=438442 Here's blinds Here's tint
GMX
The one piece can't have been Ford kit then, another aftermarket kit. I may do tints later, after I've installed Pacet ventfan The installation of the blinds was mainly for the comfort of my dog, when we're out and it's bright.

GMX
Hadn't thought of wind deflectors - that's a good idea too. :) At the moment, I put one of those tailgate lock extensions, leaving a gap but the car is still locked, when I have to park up for a couple of minutes

Lenny
Excellent :) Your guides are very comprehensive and thorough. I like the placement of your club stickers. thanks very much, The club doesn't make the decals like that, I had them done at DMB graphics, Link: http://www.dmb.uk.com/prod/720/custom-lettering-ford Decal style: Ford 300mm Colour: silver metallic Application: External Custom Text: [www.FordOwnersClub.com ] Qty: 2 When typing www.FordOwnersClub.com in to the box for them to print it; Don't forget to make the F, O and C. In capital letters the same as I have done on mine makes it stand out better in my opinion breaks up the text for quick reading. Fitted to the sill line it's easy to see if kids have left window open a bit as I can't see full decal from looking at it out window in house
