Water Repellent On Windows.

Featured Replies

What repellent you guys are using. I've been using rain x for a few years, but it does not seam to last long on the windows.Cheers..

I use auto glym resin polish on the whole car and all the windows except screen then I use auto glym window cleaner :) it works for me ;) I don't think it really matters wot you use cos at this time of year you have to use your wipers and it will eventually rub any product off (just got to clean it more often) oh yeah don't use polish on the screen :( it looks nice but when you get a spot of rain you cant see diddly squat  I made that little mistake once used up a whole tank of screen wash

qtechniq G5 will last 2-3 months on the side windows , 4-6 weeks on windscreen

qtechniq G1 is a harder wearing compound and can last 3 months on the windscreen , but isnt as water repellent as G5.

i use G5 and just apply more regularly , it looks eerily cool driving in the rain with bone dry side windows :-)

ive just started using clean freaks glass cleaner and sealant, seems good so far after a week
