2012 Focus Gearbox Problems

Hi have got a 2012 focus manual 1.6 diesel which is not long out of warranty has covered just under 46000 miles and the clutch went the other day.

Have had a new clutch fitted at a garage I have used for many years not a small set up either. But when they test drive it after putting the new full kit in from ford genuine parts, it now grinds in 3rd gear which it didn't before. I have been told it will be a sycro in the gearbox.

Has anyone had this problem or could have any ideas I would appreciate it.

    They said its the gearbox but can it go just like that. Friend has said it might be the clutch not in right ???

    It was the baulk ring on 3rd gear. Have been told the previous driver must have been holding it in gear for this to happen.

    Is it the it the 6 speed box? If it is there are modified parts available from ford to fix it and not re occur.
