Horrible Clunking / Grinding Noise When Turning Right With People In The Car

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Yesterday I posted for the first time on this forum about my noisy clutch, I think I may have cursed myself.

Last night I had 3 passengers in my car, when I took a right turn I could hear and feel a god awful grinding noise with a bit of shaking that seemed to come from the front right wheel area. Normally when I drive it is only me in the car so there is never really much weight over any wheels. I have only noticed this noise and shaking once before and did not think much of it at the time but when I think back, I remembered I had a car full of people so this noise seems apparent when under load.

I generally do a lot of motorway driving but am quite reluctant to drive at speed now.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Regards

Scott
