Featured Replies

09 1.8 tdci titanium focus, when I turn off engine, remove key & lock vehicle the dashboard light stays on, is there any reasons that happens?

Its normal it can stay on for up to around 40 mins quite a few go off after Say 10 mins then actually come on again before staying off some vauxhalls and vw do it as well as long as its off after 45 mins max

I was just about to ask this question too! It is annoying as the light stays lit when car is locked.

There must be a way to adjust the timeout of it?

Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC

No, there is no way to change this.

The instrument cluster display is illuminated when the CANbus system is active and switches off after the CANbus system goes into sleep mode.
