Focus Titanium Headlight On Focus Sigma

Featured Replies

Hi, recently i bought a pair of headlights of the focus titanium mk2 to replace the headlights of my focus sigma mk2. Apparently all the lights are working fine but the light adjustment that you can set inside the car stop working. Maybe because the connector of my car is not powering up the right schema of this new headlight.

Does anyone had the same problem ?

I'm not sure which picture belongs to which headlights you're using, but, one of them are probably the standard halogen headlights (probably the ones you're using up to now) and the other ones are an AFS headlights. Still halogen-based, however, they're manufactured to be able to "look" to sides when turning the wheel. You need to have aditional wiring installed in your car to get the turning function properly working, however, even without the full wiring, you should be able to use them properly.

If the height adjustment doesn't work, it might be because of broken levelers, or simply the plugs to levelers aren't connected properly...you need to check them a bit more and perhaps provide a better pictures of the insides - of the new lights of course. Take down the plastic cover which covers the bulbs and we might be able to give you more advice.

The 7 pin connector is what comes with the car, the 10 pin is of the new headlight. Maybe if i power it up the 3 pins (using the ground) that is missing, it will work ?

Yeah it would nowhere as was as that I'm afraid some cars have 10 pins some don't I've got the 10 pin and I can tell you the wiring will be a nightmare

i bought the 10 pin connector, i gonna change both sides for the 10 pin. The 3 missing pins im gonna ground they. I'm afraid that will not work or break something.

Without knowing what the pins fo its likely that some of the functions still wont work
