Hi all,

Does anyone know how to remove the headlamp unit, have followed the instructions in handbook but cannot see how it comes out, any help would be much appreciated

Its only held in with 2 screws, then looks like pull headlight forwards and inwards at the same time ,

If its like the mk1...

You need to undo the two torx screws, then at the back / bottom of the headlight, there should be two parallel plastic tabs, which need pushing down (long screwdriver for example) and then the headlight will just pull out.

mk2 are different to the mk1, no plastic tabs on them

i have removed one some time ago and remember it was awkard, only the two screws, but it was also slotted in at the bottom, required twisting in a fashion to release, as i said in my original post , forwards and inwards. somthing like that

thanks everyone have finally managed to solve it, cannot reason why FORD have to complicate things so much.
