After 3-4 weeks of looking I think I've finally found the one. Dark grey Ford Focus c max ghia. 63.000 miles 53 plate. I do however have two concerns. The first being the parking break the ghia is fitted with. Never had one on a car before, what does it do? Is it problematic. The second being the service history. The car was traded into the dealership with no paperwork. Spoke to the dealer on the phone and he says the car is in very good condition, clean oil etc and has had one owner from new. What are people's views on service history. All advice greatly appreciated as always.

I'd prefer to see any paperwork before buying. If it is " One Owner ", surely all the paperwork is available.

Is it petrol or diesel ?

Thanks for the reply guys. It's a petrol. Went and viewed this evening and put a deposit down. Very clean and well presented car, could tell it had been looked after. The only things that annoyed me is that the blind that comes out of one of the door cards is missing. I will need to search the forum to see if anyone has replaced one before and that it had no parcel shelf. I'm sure I can sort both things for a small price. Had recently passed the MOT with no advisories. Buzzing to pick it up tomorrow afternoon now. The one immediate dilemma I face is do I keep the factory stereo or replace it with the aftermarket one I pulled out of my fiesta.
