just saying hello, had a Mk1 Focus 1.8 Zetec until it was written off in a head on crash [other parties fault]

Wife demanded a Volvo, I stuck out for another Focus......She won......I loved the S40 2.0 D SE as it went like stink had it 9 months. It's a motorway muncher really, enjoyed taking it touring on the south coast twice and Scotland once [ live up north in Yorkshire] the deep leather seats are fantastic.

Wife says though she loves being driven in the Volvo, she really misses the 5 speed box on the Focus....she won again, I love her you see.

Seriously with our normal meagre annual mileage, which most of the time is spent pottering around town and maybe a tad further a field, the Mk2 Focus 1.6 Zetec Climate I pick up tomorrow is better suited to our needs.
