Hi I am looking to get either an S-Max or Grand C-Max but I have read very bad reviews on the fuel economy of the C-max.

Can people please advise me on how good/bad the actual MPG is, I would probably look to get the 2.0 diesel version or the 1.6 diesel.

Thanks in advance, I just want as much info as possible before I make a choice or either of these cars.

    I think the bad reviews on fuel are just for 1.0 ecoboost series.

    I've just bought one and I get 49 mpg from the 1.6 Diesel engine, that's on mainly hilly dual carriage ways with some town driving.
