Locking problem

Hello I have a c max 2007 mk2 and the drivers door won't lock with the key or the button above the inner door handle it is not remote locking but has central locking it is like it is jammed the button above the inner handle is really stiff any advise on how to slove this problem thanks

Sounds like the latch mechanism inside the door is jamming, possibly due to corrosion.

Removing the door trim is fairly simple, but there are usually a couple of tricks like hidden clips. Haynes manual would detail this. Then it may be possible to see the problem, or give the latch a good oiling.

Next stage would be to remove the latch for repair / replacement.
